What perfume did you wear in the 90s/00s?

I'm trying to evoke some nostalgia by trying some forgotten fragrances.

For me it was Sun Moon Stars, CK Obsession, Jean Paul Gaultier Classique and Gucci Rush.

Gone now of course, but I buy a dupe from Perfume Parlour. It smells just the same!

Anna Sui - Sui Dreams

I started to wear Chanel Cristalle in 1991 and from then on gradually rejected Opium, Eau Dynamisante ( sp) Escape and Sunflowers until I became 100% faithful in about 1994.

I was devastated when it was rumoured to be discontinued. I can now rest easy as it's not! I don't like any other perfumes now apart from the occasional very flowery Jo Malone ones.

I still wear Loulou. Quite cheap. And strong, unlike most perfumes now.

Does anyone remember a perfume from 2003ish maybe, it had sort of “play” and “pause” buttons on the bottle design, I think it was blue and a weird shape that I can’t describe.

It smelled exactly like Skittles, similar to some of the Britney scents, and I loved it! I remember I bought it in Boots. Can’t remember the name or brand!

Just managed to answer my own question with further Googling! Givenchy Oblique was the line. I had “fast forward”

I think people used to say that Yardley's Jade smelled like Cristalle - another of my favs, but I believe that's been discontinued as well!

You can still buy it from Dior online! It's EDT though.

I was obsessed with it! It was my nice ‘going out’ perfume...which in those days were clubbing 😂

Jean Paul Gaultier! If I recall there was a different 'outfit' for each fragrance. I'm sure one was themed as a sailor?

definitely wore Spice Girls edition Impulse spray as a tween in the 90s. I must have smelled terrible!

@creativebetty I have purchased from Eden before and the dupe was spot on so definitely worth a try.

As a teen in the 90s I wore Impulse Body Sprays, Tribe, and Body Shop perfume oils.
In the 00s I wore Cerruti 1881, Chanel Chance, Next Pink perfume, CK Be.

Also, someone upthread mentioned Tocade- I still have a bottle of that. It’s the weirdest combination of almond and burnt plastic… I quite like it.

Oh and Charlie perfume, although I never liked it much!
