What perfume did you wear in the 90s/00s?

I'm trying to evoke some nostalgia by trying some forgotten fragrances.

For me it was Sun Moon Stars, CK Obsession, Jean Paul Gaultier Classique and Gucci Rush.

Just remembered my favourite that I got for my birthday the summer before I started high school - 1998.

JOOP - All About Eve. Beautiful apple shaped bottle, smelled sweet, yummy and gorgeous.

Eau d'Eden (Cacharel), Mure et Musc (Artisan Parfumeur), XS pour Elle (Paco Rabanne), Noa (Cacharel), Byzance (Rochas). Then later Ormonde Woman, Philosykos, Le Chevrefeuille (AG) and The Pour Un Ete (AP).

Also Escape (CK) but that was from a boyfriend and not one I would have chosen myself. The hand soap in John Lewis' bathrooms smells very like Escape and it whips me back to 1993 every time.

What a trip down memory lane! I used to love going into Boots on my break and leisurely checking out the new releases (this was early 2000s so new celebrity fragrances were dropping regularly). I really need a new perfume but it seems like nowadays either everything is locked away or you're watched like a hawk if you linger too long instead of immediately picking something up.

The only one I can clearly evoke the smell of is Fantasy (too sickly sweet for my current taste). For the others, my overriding memory is the bottle design - I can still feel the 212 bottle in my hand!

People don't even remember it now, they just think you're talking about Black XS

I bought some dewberry body mist from amazon a few year ago for clubland on the beach (trying to recapture my youth) 🤣 it smelled exactly like the body shops & it had glitter in it; I was sparkling & smelling lovely all day 🤣🤣🤣

In the 90s I wore Sun Moon and Stars, Eden, Tendre Poison. In my later teens, at the end of the 90s, I bought some Chanel No 5, so that's the definitive evocative 90s fragrance for me, though I never stopped wearing it.
