@Myfabby and who made you the judge and jury over my views? 😂 My it must be a fine view from your high horse. Sorry but there's no way £3K for two outfits for one person can ever be deemed as truly essential but you do you.
As I said OP, the dress has some lovely elements and is not too short. I'm not sold on the slip but if you love it and can justify it in your wedding budget then it's up to you. No judgement from me in spite of what others may like to believe.

I wouldn't because I'm short and curvy and have atrocious stumpy legs, but if it suited me I would! If you love it , wear it. I'd love to attend a wedding where the bride wore something a little different like this for a change.

@Keurig it'd be the better part of £3K (not quite though) That's not to say you shouldn't go for it though if you love them and it won't put you into debt, they are both beautiful. I always love that shape of dress (the flowery one) and find it very flattering. It would be gorgeous with a long veil and some nice sparkly heels and as someone else said, you could wear it again many times I'm sure.

If you have a gamine figure, go for it.

@Keurig in that case 100% go for it. Even if you don't end up using it for the wedding (for any reason) you'll be able to wear it for something. It is timeless!
