One Hundred Stars sale is on

Just had an email, the One Hundred Stars sale is now on. Some of the dressing gowns are around half price, there are other items reduced, but it’s often the gowns that are recommended on here. It’s down to S&B I found them in the first place 😊anyway I’ve just ordered the Indian lily which was £35.

I got one of their tops 5 years ago for my birthday, wear it tons every summer and it still looks good as new. Fantastic quality. Im saving up for one of their duster coats.

I notice that they don't do the wide collection of map kimono tops that they used to do. They only do a few of the map dressing gowns now, but you used to be able to buy the map kimono top too

I have one of their robes. They are quite sheer. I tend to potter around in a robe for a while after a shower without much underneath & found they could be a bit too sheer for that. Probably best over pyjamas or a nightgown.

They are no good if you have huge boobs sadly, even if they say one size fits all.

How does the sizing work for the dresses? Surely the M/L is going to be massive if you're a size 14, and the S/M too small? I could order both sizes but they don't do free returns.

Just ordered two dresses. I'll only keep one but I couldn't decide which print I liked best. I ordered the M/L size and am a curvy size 14 so it should be fine.

Rachel dress in m/l size (and I'm going to try the Rachel top) is very forgiving of my 34h bust and overall 16/18 shape. The crepe fabric this comes in is much less diaphanous than the original robe and kimono jacket fabrics and I love the crepe on my skin. I'm impressed with the quality of the prints, cut and sewing, and the sale prices make the garments great value. The duster coat works well for my size too, but I added a front button as Bust makes it fall too open. Big fan. Was complemented on my duster coat today in MandS and also found it just right over a tshirt for today's middling temperatures and damp air.

I am 14-16, biggish boobs, and I have the Rachel dress in s/m. It definitely fits. Maybe m/l would work with a belt (and I'd quite like floatier arms) but I think the extra material would be too much at the front and make my chest look too big. It is an absolutely magical dress, I've never seen anything in this shape before.

I didn't get a chance to read my email from them till around midday and did order a couple of items.

But I'm a bit meh now I've seen this over enthusiastic thread moments after they must have sent their email and OP chose her pieces as to what might have sold out before I got to have a chance to look. My excitement feels tarnished.

I'm a bit hesitant re the dresses and sizing but there are a couple I really like the look of.

I bought my DM a short kimono of the Paris map and it hangs beautifully on her. Luckily the short kimono I had my eye on was in the sale but I'd have liked a bigger choice of dressing gowns. I know they had more as OPs Lily was no longer on the sale when I looked.
