No spoilers please, but had anyone had their August box yet? Last month I received it on July 1st but I've not even had a dispatch email yet.

so @BarbaraV it was a candle (which smells nice!), the algae plump serum (as quite a big sample) and......the sodding seaweed tea! 😂

I really like the candle (though DH thinks it's floral and I think it's a fresh smell). The serum is a win - big sample - and I've tried the tea and, actually, it's ok, it has a strong taste of liquorice. We drink loose leaf tea and I've been banned from putting it in the teapot though 😆

Really happy with the generous 10ml sample of the serum! Also really like the candle. I usually prefer woody/heavier scents but this is really fresh and I suprisingly like it a lot. Will be nice for summer. Then the SEAWEED TEA 😂 super sleuth @HundredMilesAnHour cracked it. I would have preferred to receive more skincare.. However, DH is a massive fan of herbal teas and I'll add this to his collection. I tried it this evening and it's okay except I'm not a huge fan of liquorice so this one is for him. I enjoyed reading the little pamphlet it came with explaining each item also.

I'm pleased with the candle as I've never tried one from Haeckels before. I do miss the green boxes though.

I've bought the algae plump serum before so that's a win. Not sure I can face the tea as I hate licorice. Might have to give it to a tea-drinking licorice-liking friend.

Damn seaweed tea...(at £25!!)...😂I'm not good with weird/woo teas. My ex used to like to torture ask me to join him in a cup of Yogi Echinacea tea before bed. I referred to it as "rancid tea". That's why he's an ex.

I'm super happy with the candle – I've been wanting to try a Haeckels candle for a while and was hoping there would be one in the box. (I'm thinking of using my discount code and £5 voucher for the Pluviophile candle! Has anyone here tried it?) And, I'm looking forward to trying the serum. I do love teas (and aniseed flavours!) so I am looking forward to trying the tea, although probably would have preferred more skincare. I've just made a cup of the tea so will see what it's like, it does smell quite delicious. This is my first box and I'll definitely stay subscribed!

Really happy with the candle - perfect for this time of year I think, and I would never pay the RRP for one so very happy to be able to try one. Sure the serum will be good, I’ve loved all the skincare so far. But yeah…seaweed tea will be donated. I’m a double espresso drinker, definitely not for me!

I've just had the tea and it's actually really good – it's similar to the Aveda tea that I really like (although slightly milder). And as PP said, only 3 weeks until the next box! 😆

I really like the moisturiser. I used to use it all the time but they kept having stock issues (it always sold out really quickly - but Haeckels were much smaller scale then) so I swapped back to my Dr Sebagh moisturiser and still have quite a stock of that to use (Dr Sebagh do very good offers every so often).

The night moisturiser is too heavy for me but the daytime one is great.

I've tried - or already use - most of their products so it's the collaboration products that interest me in the box as they're new / not available to buy so things like the Saga handwash @Cyclingmummy1 has just started using (from box 3) or the Japanese body block soap that they don't sell in the UK (that we got in box 2). Pre-box days, they gifted me a wonderful body lotion that they made for a collaboration with Browns and I love it so much! That was the start of the collaboration obsession....🙄😝

I actually think their soap is amazing @rougechaotic. I don't usually use soap at all but I use their exfoliating bars on my body (not face) in my morning shower and think they're fab. I'm less keen on the shampoo and conditioner as it didn't suit my hair and left it feeling dry/knotty and in need of more conditioning so I'll stick to Kerastase for hair.
