Which colour to get the Uniqlo bag in?

I think it seems like a wise investment. A little larger than my Lululemon one which is only big enough for the bare essentials (but v good at the airport for just passport & phone). I can't decide between 3 colours, olive, beige and natural. Is it boring to get natural or beige? I definitely don't want black for the summer (what summer?!). What colour does everyone have/use the most?

Off topic ( I do have a purple one of these bags though ) but please tell me about your bra wearing experience with soft bras? I'm a 38dd and post menopausal so my perky days are behind me. I often see ads on FB for soft bras but can't imagine they'd give enough support. What do you wear and how supportive do you find it? Thanks!

They are the M&S Flexifit, I wear 36E. I find them pretty supportive and can do low impact exercise in them. I still wear underwires occasionally under dresses for a bit more lift for smart occasions but these are great for every day. Purple bag ordered here too, annoyingly Evri "couldn't find my address" yesterday despite it being a work address and there being people there all day.

M&S bra ordered, trying to find post BF for 4 year bras 😂

Off topic too but for the above I have 2 flexifit bras the best things ever in 38B.

I had a similar one from Primark (actually slightly bigger with a zip pocket on the side) in cream and it got absolutely battered doing Disney for 2 weeks. I got a black uniqlo when over there and love it. Dark colours all the way.

Don't know which is your local store, but when I last saw the navy ones (admittedly a couple of months ago, shortly after they disappeared from the website), they'd put them completely separate from all the other colours. That was in one of the London Oxford Street stores; also saw them in the one at Battersea Power Station. So worth having a good look round.

I was killing time/sheltering from the rain in London, yesterday, so loitered in Uniqlos. I didn't see any navy Crossbody bags in Battersea Power station or the Uniqlo opposite John Lewis's.

Does anybody have a date for the corduroy bags arriving?

As an aside, I (post menopausal) am sat here wearing a Mame Kurogouchi (for Uniqlo) 3D bra that they had on sale earlier in the year. I see that their latest bras come in cup sizes rather than S/M/L.

PS: I do wish they would open some more stores outside the M25

I went for the darker beige, it's like a caramel colour, goes with everything and the navy blue because its my favourite colour and the same colour as my pushchair so I use the navy as a little pouch on the handle bar for the things I want handy but zipped away safely

I have the navy one, only bought it in May so surprised it’s no longer on the website. I was torn between that one, the Olive and the mustard yellow. I figured the blue would go with most things but I’d love all three!

I have a black leather Hush cross body bag but this is nicer for summer and I like the more casual style. I find it useful as I’m usually wrangling a toddler or pushing a buggy and need to be hands free. It’s easy to get to stuff and feels secure in crowded areas. Recently used it at some outdoor gigs and a theme park. About 1 in 4 of the women at one of the gigs had the bag 😆

Having a bag which fits an umbrella totally is my definition of a summer essential this year!

Yes, agree. I have the purple one (it’s quite bright), and would like to buy a blue one for my friend for her birthday as she wears a lot of blue. I’m surprised there isn’t a blue tbh.
I’m also buying it in black for DH.
I’d like a true plum/ aubergine too.

Mine has just arrived this morning (ordered last Sunday)... it feels like a very long delivery time but I reminded myself of the days when things were '28 days for delivery'!

I ordered green/olive and it is more green and less olive/khaki than I expected but it is nice. I'm going to use it tomorrow :)

I'm still wondering about the pros/cons of the crossbody vs the mini shoulder bags.

I get that the crossbody is the one also referred to as a bum bag (although looks as if the strap can be lengthened enough to wear at the hip?) and the the shoulder bag comes in more colours and is the one the thread was originally about.
However, I'd be interested to know if one holds more than the other; if one sits better on the body...that sort of thing.
I think the comparison of the two has been touched on in this thread, but nothing very definitive has been said.

I have the black one. It's great to take around days out in central London. Hate wearing backpacks in crowds.

I wasn't sure which one to buy so I ordered 3 colours for choice with the intention of returning 2 back. However I like all 3 so I'm keeping them ! I wear the purple one for casual days out and the black & beige ones for work (each one suits a different seasonal coat I have).
I have to say, I wear it a bit lower than how the models on their website pics wear them as I find it most comfortable that way.

Since mine has arrived I've seen even more on other people when I'm out, even just locally. Am v happy with them. I don't feel it is the most stylish bag I've owned, but it is very practical, very good size, and I feel it would be safe and convenient in a crowd / sightseeing etc.

Happy with the colour too, and I think I will probably also be investing in a cord one :)

I've purchased the red (burgundy) today. I'll use it tomorrow. If it works for me I'll probably buy the blue/navy (there was also a darker blue/black) and the mustard. I liked the purple one too.

I was surprised to see these everywhere in Paris (and not just on touristy looking types). I was in London in June and only spotted a couple. I didn’t bring mine to Paris because I thought I’d look unfashionable 😂 how wrong I was.
