Which colour to get the Uniqlo bag in?

I think it seems like a wise investment. A little larger than my Lululemon one which is only big enough for the bare essentials (but v good at the airport for just passport & phone). I can't decide between 3 colours, olive, beige and natural. Is it boring to get natural or beige? I definitely don't want black for the summer (what summer?!). What colour does everyone have/use the most?

I have the olive and it's great.

MariaDingbat · 30/07/2023 07:03

I don't live near a Uniqlo to check, but can someone tell me if the strap is long enough for the bag to sit at your hip rather than the higher position shown on the models?

Strap is adjustable and long enough

I have the black but might get the olive or another colour for autumn too!

The corduroy in dark orange is lovely. This is yet another MN thread that will cost me money! Very good value though.

Feelingsurreal · 30/07/2023 07:50

Lol that the thread is one that will cost us money, but thank goodness it is £14.90 and not more 😊

Thanks @ThePoetsWife, that's going on my basket then! 😂

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 30/07/2023 08:19

The corduroy ones look fantastic. I need another bag like a hole in the head, but will buy one (or two) anyway!

nzeire · 30/07/2023 08:47

I bought one after all the mumsnet ter were raving about it… thought I’d be ahead of the trend here in nz. It arrived, used it once and passed on. It’s horrible! What am I missing here people?!

as you were :)

Corknut · 30/07/2023 08:52

I have black and use it everyday despite having designer alternatives, can’t wait for the cord one

I agree, really. It's the emperor's new clothes.

Feelingsurreal · 30/07/2023 10:15

@GardeningIdiot I like that you use that expression too... the emperor's new clothes. When I use it, nobody knows what I mean.

I haven't see the Barbie film, and have no interest in doing so, but I think that really surely is a case of the emperor's new clothes??

I have an ancient corduroy bag and it's terrible for collecting fluff.

Yogachick · 30/07/2023 10:31

Off topic but which Lululemon bag is it @Feelingsurreal Sounds like what I’ve been looking for!

Fraaahnces · 30/07/2023 10:31

I have several of them for work. I live in Aus and maybe the colours available are different, but I have purple, green and black. They're awesome. Also machine washable if necessary.

Which one, the round mini shoulder bag?

Trying to avoid a bad purchase here!

GardeningIdiot · 30/07/2023 11:13

I wouldn't say it's a bad purchase, @CornishPixiePasties. It's just a small nylon bag that seems to fit in more than you'd expect, and somehow went viral.

dinmin · 30/07/2023 11:17

Sorry to hijack that can anybody confirm which bag is roomier, and whether they’re both somewhat waterproof?

PiggyPlumPie · 30/07/2023 11:25

We were recently in Orlando and all five of us ended up with these bags! Carried loads of stuff and perfect for days at the parks.

GardeningIdiot · 30/07/2023 11:30

😂 @Feelingsurreal

I think it's more of a case of each to their own. It's fine if YOU don't like it.

I love mine. Coveting a corduroy for colder season.

Gave my son's GF a yellow one. She wears it a lot. Just useful and cute.

Scully01 · 30/07/2023 11:44

I have the green and purple, I bloody love them. Use the purple one more as the green can look a bit tatty cause it's quite light. I want to get more now 😍

Scully01 · 30/07/2023 11:47

I wear both of mine at my hip so it's fine, can't be doing with the bumbag over the tits trend.

I just can't get on board that trend. It reminds me of those bags boys/young men wear while wearing jogging pants/socks and pool shoes. Not a good look!
