Midi dress with no waist

I'm looking for a dress. It needs to be quite long as I'm tall, so midi or maxi length. I'm slim-ish but have fat around my middle, so don't suit dresses with waists. Colours: I prefer dark if possible or something quite muted. I tried this one, which is a nice fit and shape, but just looks cheap and poorly finished up close, and I wasn't sure about the native American motifs: https://www.monsoon.co.uk/embroidered-cami-midi-dress-black-54293401.html

Has anyone seen something in a similar shape, preferably not jersey, but cotton or linen? Or anything long that won't highlight my spare tyres? I usually like Seasalt/Fatface type clothes but can't see anything waistless on their websites at the moment.

It's not for a special occasion, doesn't need to be especially smart, just something for hot days, summer barbecues, etc and preferably under £100.

I really need something longer than that - preferably mid calf length. I'm 5'9 so usually clothes look the same length on me as they do in photos.

I've been admiring the shape of this long print dress at Jigsaw. There's also a plain blue one. Both are linen.

I noticed this in M&S yesterday which I thought might be quite nice.

I'm quite apple-shaped and find East good for maxi dresses.

I just wore this dress to a big occasion, it was very flattering. The material is heavy jersey and it drapes very well.

I saw a couple today in Zara.

Here's one and this one looks great irl. It has a fake waist as it is structured but really loose around the waist line. And there's also this basic denim sundress

Also tall with a fatty middle and I’ve found the sort of Jane Austen regency dress style to be very forgiving. I picked up a maxi floaty cotton one in H&M the other day, it's very thin cotton but hangs nicely. Basically anything that’s tightest under the boobs works brilliantly for those of us who hold our weight around our middles and bums.
