What semi permanent make up have you had done?

do you love it?

I'm particularly interested in lip blush and the smoky top lash liner.

I'm interested in the same thing as you op, so watching with interest

I've never had any. I've had Botox once and found the results pretty meh. My wrinkles went away but it was hardly life-changing

I have had my lashline done. It is divine. I love it. I am doing sheer lipblush at the end of May. For some reason I am terrified of doing my eyebrows

want the eyeliner but afraid of the pain factor

delighted with the lip blush in particular as my lips were so thin and faded

@AssertiveGertrude I found the lip blush fat fat more painful than eyeliner, eyeliner was least painful out of all 3 I have had done

I would so love the top liner but the fear of injuring my eyelid or having an allergic reaction...I wish they could invent permanent marker liner! 😂

The nyx liquid liner is practically permanent. It really sticks on

Yes I have it all - eyebrows, smoky liner, lip blush. Love it. I'm blonde and look like a ghost otherwise.

Yes eyeliner didn't hurt at all, lips were quite stingy.

combo eyebrows and top and bottom eyeliner. I love it.. my eyes are no longer like piss holes in the snow and eyebrows really add that frame to your face. Thinking of lip blush next.

So interesting to hear eyeliner wasn’t painful !! I found the brows ok but lips a bit sore (I didn’t like the swelling but I got it done at end of Covid and wore my mask ) 😆

Yes...and I heard it sort of scabs over and so on. Am I overly worrying?

did it scab over and how long before you could be seen at work, for example, in front of a client?

@EmmaEmerald mine scabbed over a bit but cant have been that bad else I would've remembered, I had it done about 5 years ago and had it topped up once since then for a 'refresh'.....I just had to lay off the mascara for a couple of weeks till it healed. I had it done then went to work next day and I work on reception and no body noticed, my colleagues only mentioned it because I had told them I was having it done.

I was at work straight away. No one knew a thing. Mine was a lashline tattoo though so if a winged liner it might have been more obvious. I did have some flaking but hardly anything at all.

My mum had her eyeliner and brows done, mainly so she didn't feel so depressed about the hair-thinning effects of ageing when she looked in the mirror first thing in the morning!

She's not prone to allergies other than hay fever so didn't worry much about that.

It looks really good. But you definitely need a personal recommendation or to see a lot of photos that you know for absolute sure are theirs!

Straight away, no problem. I did lashline first time that was totally fine. Second time went for full liner and that was swollen a couple of following mornings, but swelling went down in a few min with an ice pack. The scabbing was mild and would only have been noticeable if someone was really an inch from you.

I got my eyebrows microbladed recently, after being super low maintenance for years. I love them, mostly because I can keep up my low maintenance lazy approach to make up!! I had a second appointment to top up and went slightly darker as the first lot were almost too natural... I wanted to look like I had subtle make up on if poss, not for it to actually be invisible!

I'm interested in the liner too, asked the woman about that today.

Do people combine with lash tint, or would you have a lash tint first? I'm concerned if I just had the liner that my (fair) eyelashes would look odd.

A video popped up on my FB book with a girl who regretted winged eyeliner. She wants the option of changing her look and she can't cover it up properly with make up as it always shows through. Just worth considering.

I started having my eyebrows waxed and tinted a few months ago. They're shaped naturally and mid-brown so not earth shattering but I really like them. I've never had bushy brows but this is just neater.
