Closed toe sandals

Hello, I'm looking for some closed toe sandals (toenails removed years ago, look rank so have to be covered!)

They need a bit of a heel/wedge of 3/4cm as I have problems with my Achilles tendons.

They need to be cheap! I'm very poor!

I've looked at Hotter, Pavers, Sketchers & they all have ones that I like but are all a bit pricey.

I could possibly go up to £50 BUT only if they are perfect. Last year I spent £20 each on 3 different pairs that all didn't fit properly/looked awful/not like the photos (& I'm still gutted at wasting £60 a year later)

I resorted to wearing these kind of trainers from Shoe zone which were lovely & comfortable but very hot for my feet + I got through several pairs as they get discoloured from suncream/go through at the bottom/smell!

I do a fair amount of walking (& sweating!) even with my feet problems.

I had my entire nail removed and the reconstruction has so far lasted 3 months, so this article is quite pessimistic about how long it lasts just based on my own experience , and I swim almost daily now so it’s exposed to a lot !

Thanks @stillherenow i did find a place in the Lothians that mentions it, though it's £80 which does seem a lot
not sure how much I've spent on glue-on nails though!

So, the shoes from Shuperb arrived & I've realised they are the same ones on the Pavers website. They look better than the photo, shimmery & pretty. BUT the velcro only just fastens so I'll try a higher size otherwise these will have to be a no.

Asos has some flatform espadrilles. Not too high at all.

Those 'Shuperb' ones I had to send back twice as I just couldn't get the size right.

I've ordered these from Amazon & worn them today. They have the right heel & are ridiculously comfy, soft on the top & just firm on the sole. They aren't my style at all, I'd prefer some more colour/sparkle but it is what it is. I looked down at my feet as I unlocked my door just now & sighed. But at least my feet are comfortableGrin
