I have bacterial tonsillitis and 5y-o has an ear infection so we're snuggled together watching Wreck It Ralph.

This is yesterday's outfit - I felt nice when I left for work but ended up throwing up in the afternoon 🤢 Looked a right state when I left to go home.

Topshop trousers, Monki shirt and leather Converse.

While I was out at the shops & having a coffee I was wearing:

Black knee high riding boots from Simply Be
Black leggings from Primark
Long black vest top from Tu at Sainsbury
Black cropped jumper from River Island
Black puffa jacket from F&F at Tesco
Grey crossbody bag from River Island
Gold plated hoops from Accessorize
Gold plated heart necklace from PRYA

Now I'm home I've swapped the puffa for my pink men's Superdry hoody & the boots for my coral Superdry sliders!! Nice & comfy to do the washing in.

I have a pale pink non petite version of the Next denim jacket for fuller busts, I like the placement of the pockets, it definitely looks better than a 'normal' denim jacket on me.

Great some places are trying to accommodate different shaped bodies. I can't usually wear non stretchy jackets because I'd need a size too big for the rest of my body to fit my boobs in. The pink one looks lovely, tempted but I know I would struggle to keep something made of cotton looking clean in such a light colour. I might have preferred the length of the regular, but then the sleeves would be too long and a jacket with sleeves I don't have to roll up is so hard to find.

I must admit I do worry about the colour!! I would have got denim but I already have a blue denim jacket from Primark that I like.

It looks lovely though, you can save the pink one for best!

DH has been and gone now he’s off to his mums 90th birthday lunch ( in her care home). It will be odd I think as her dementia is very bad now and she often has no idea who anyone is it’s such a shame. At least we all have happy memories from family events and holidays

For some reason I struggle with knowing what jeans (not skinny) and boots go! Haven’t worn my docs at all this winter so hoping they go!

The thing that annoys me about jeans that aren’t skinny is that the knees go baggy so they don’t retain their shape - surely you don’t need to wash after one wear?!

@Softpebbles - I think the knee bagginess is something you only notice on your own jeans. I’m having coffee in town and watching the world go by. Before I read your post I hadn’t noticed anyone’s knees. Now I’ve read it I realise that everyone’s jeans are like that.

Still not feeling especially springlike here. Although DS has already broken up for Easter.

Ooh, @itssquidstella, you have some cracking Markus Lupfer tops - I love his jumpers. I am faffing around the house in an old tee from god knows where (slogan says she with the most shoes wins!), and a skirt from Shein. Other outfit is a current offering from Marks and Spencer and I am curiously drawn to it. Thoughts? Would I look like I am wearing pyjamas? Does that matter, lol?

I love those Hush jeans @Softpebbles. I wanted some but they were too short for me 😞
