Frustrating re. Sezane customer service @toucaninjapan!

Wet and icy cold here today. My ankles weren't happy at playtime!

Topshop ovoids, Zara sweater, DM loafers.

Hi all! Hope your week's going well so far Smile

Looking and feeling like a bag lady although today has consisted of working from home, dog walking and nipping to the shops!

Coat - Trespass (about a year old. Has a removable fur trim for the hood but I took it because of the rain!)
Joggers -old trusties, from Puma!
Jumper - New Look (about a year old).
Trainers -Shein.

If included a close up of the jumper...the black writing is velvety, so a nice touch!

@Fluffodils yes in my experience Zara dresses are often thin, almost see through and not great quality. I just love the look of everything online the way they style it all but it rarely lives up to expectations. I like the detail in the way the top part of the dress dips down into a V shape though.

Yes that is a nice touch

I really like your necklace

So update on our illness! I've tested negative but feel 100% like I have it, DD is really unwell and we will test tomorrow, DS and his GF have tested positive ( and they visited here last Thursday and Friday & I started feeling ill Sunday I think)and DD1 who DS and GF spent the weekend with has tested positive. Last time it took 4 days for me to test post and 5 for DD. My birthday weekend is therefore cancelled, luckily the caterer ( who are friends of ours thank ) hadn't yet ordered in or started prepping any food. Astonishing

So sorry to hear. It seems like loads of people I know have it at the moment. DS2 is still quite unwell, it's been 11 days now, he can't do anything but rest and has GCSEs soon, I think we'll lose 2 valuable revision weeks at least. DS1 didn't test positive but only did 2 tests and then just stopped testing because they'd both been with their dad 2 days before who had tested positive. Hope you all feel better soon.

takemebacktothe1990s · 28/03/2023 22:52

@Fluffodils thank you, it's from Tanya Bardo. I also have a rose gold heart necklace, in the shape of angel wings, from there too.

So sorry to hear that you/your family members are still poorly @Sooverthemill @Netcam
It feels like everybody's sick these days, we have a very persistent bug going on here in DD's nursery, DD has been sick since last week and I'm also not feeling my best.

Welcome @EmbracingTheEyeBags , love your username and your outfit!

Please excuse me for posting a photo of the socks instead of OOTD today. I've tried to make this pic look nicer by including a wall art in the photo, lol!
These socks are doing magic to my feet. Do you have any sort of "socks that prevent hard skin/ make your skin silky soft etc." sold in the UK? I've never heard of such thing before MIL told me about it about a month ago and now I'm completely hooked. MIL showed me her feet too - impeccable, and she never does any pedicures or special treatment, basically just wears these kind of socks all the time and that's it.
I'm not sure how it's done, I think there is sort of a nylon maybe or some similar sort of synthetic fiber sewn inside near the heels which basically makes your heels "sweat" which helps them stay smooth and moisturized (sounds disgusting I know Grin). Anyway these socks are amazing, wouldn't think I could be so happy about some socks, but here I am! Best beauty find of this year so far.

Where are the socks from? I like the colour. It goes well with the picture lol!!!!

toucaninjapan · 29/03/2023 08:01

@Fluffodils I think they are made by some local company in Nara. MIL orders them through some catalogue and apparently it's really hard to book them, you have to be fast otherwise they will be all sold out. They are also too expensive in my opinion, I got mine as a present from MIL cause there's no way I'm paying this much for socks!

Thanks for new thread @Purplecatshopaholic!

I have bacterial tonsillitis and 5y-o has an ear infection so we're snuggled together watching Wreck It Ralph.

This is yesterday's outfit - I felt nice when I left for work but ended up throwing up in the afternoon 🤢 Looked a right state when I left to go home.

Topshop trousers, Monki shirt and leather Converse.

I love this outfit!

Rollerbird · 29/03/2023 08:19

I'm intrigued @toucaninjapan !
Can they be washed? Or does the stuff that sorts your feet out come out?

itssquidstella · 29/03/2023 09:15

I'd love a pair of those socks, @toucaninjapan!

@Sooverthemill really sorry to hear that you're unwell; what bad timing! Fingers crossed you're all on the mend soon.

It's my day off today - soft play beckons! Weird photo angle to show a) the split sleeves and b) the snot stains on this T-shirt 😁

Tshirt: All Saints
Belt: ASOS
Jeans: Topshop (I have four pairs of jeans but I literally live in these ones)

@toucaninjapan they sound ace socks. I hate feet and always suffer with dry skin 😷

@EllaPaella I’ve just noticed eleven lives have brought out a new black dress. I imagine it will be excellent quality.

Great outfit! I've always avoided boden as can never find anything I like. But I like that shirt.

I can't work out what your t-shirt says! But I love the rock chick style.

Fluffodils · 29/03/2023 11:17

I am once again wearing black joggers from Asda this time and a scruffy hoody from primark- grey. Red t-shirt from next underneath.
