Fragrances you wore as a teen

I was a teen in the 90s. I remember everybody going crazy for Body Shop Dewberry but don't really remember what it smelled like?

I got some Sunflowers perfume and wore WAAAY too much of it, ALL the time. My friend's mum asked her to tell me to stop wearing it at their house. 😂😂😂 The smell turns my stomach now.

If the body shop brought back Dewberry, White Musk and those little bath pearls that would always pop if you squeezed too hard, they would make a killing

Old fashioned but nice. The smell reminds me of the hangovers of my misspent youth now.

Rive Gauche, Femme and Chanel No 5. My granny used to travel a lot and kept me topped up with duty free!

@Barold @YellowMay I'm still cross that they discontinued XS Pour Elle, it was my absolute favourite and I'd still be wearing it now.

Kiku as a 16 year old. Had a Saturday job at Boots and every payday I'd buy a bottle with my discount. Had quite a stash by the time I left!
Then onto Youthdew like half the staff in the bank I worked at. Ruined so many clothes as the liquid was brown and stained all my collars and polo necks.

I had a lot that have already been listed…including a musky Bodyshop one I can’t remember the name of but it always made me
sneeze and I hated it but felt pressured to buy it.

• Poéme Lancôme miniature I thought I was so sophisticated until another boy said who smells like a Granny 🤣🙈
• Ô Lancôme - still would wear now I love it especially the l’orangerie version, so crisp and fresh
• Same goes for Miracle by Lancôme in fact I think I have a bottle somewhere
• Hugo Boss woman - loved!
• J’adore Dior I still wear
• Davidoff Cool Water I still wear

• Versace Red Jeans omg! 😂 the tin! My boyfriend at the time had Blue Jeans. We were a power couple obvs. Always preferred the smell of the Blue actually!

I spent my youth stinking up a lot of joints by the look of things. There are many more perfumes I have no doubt forgotten. I also remember all the ones my friends wore, Just Pink by Next, Jean Paul Gaultier, Anais Anais, Cerruti 1881, Britney Fantasy, Gucci Envy Me, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger… good times. Had a lot of headaches 🤣

One of my favourites. I got drunk one night and dropped a bottle in the pub loos. Absolutely gutted

I wore Ananya too. Loved it. That and the Monsoon one or was there another with a copper wire conical lid?
Sun moon and stars too then Chloe Narcisse. I binned a bottle recently of that and wish I'd kept it

I was a teenager from 1983-89 and my grandmother insisted on buying me perfumes for Christmas. She basically always got me the big hitter that year, so I went through LouLou, Anais Anais, Eden (), Poison, Paris, Giorgio Beverley Hills etc etc

The perfume I could afford to buy myself was Woody Sandalwood from The Body Shop which was absolutely beautiful - never smelt a sandalwood like it since, it was gorgeously resinous.

I also liked Benetton Colours - the original one in the hexagonal bottle. That was a really unusual smell.

Jovan Musk was cheap as chips. They've reformulated it now and it smells nothing like I remember but I used to love that perfume.

With all the 90s fashion around at the moment, I think the fragrance people are missing a trick. Sounds like loads of us would immediately buy the original formulations of some of these.

OTOH, Sunflowers is still around for some reason 😶😶(jk, probably just me who gags)

That’s the Benetton one I had and I loved it too. It did have a very unique smell.
