Fragrances you wore as a teen

I was a teen in the 90s. I remember everybody going crazy for Body Shop Dewberry but don't really remember what it smelled like?

I got some Sunflowers perfume and wore WAAAY too much of it, ALL the time. My friend's mum asked her to tell me to stop wearing it at their house. 😂😂😂 The smell turns my stomach now.

Gio By Armani. It was very special and an expensive treat. Pure 90s spicy fun!

Prior to that Dewberry, Exclamation, Boots natural collection body spray, Georgio Beverly Hills, Impulse and whatever Yardley I got from my gran for Christmas!

And there was one from Avon I can't remember the name of. was actually trying to Google it not long ago I'm sure it has the words paradise or island in the name. I found one called Island Vibe but I'm not sure that's the one. It left an oily feeling on my skin but I loved it.

I didn't actually own the Diesel or the D&G I would steal my mum's 😂 also loved Britney Spears perfume (still do!)

I was at school in the 1980s. For us, it was Body Shop White Musk, Impulse 'hint of musk' and anais anais.

There was also one called 'vanilla fields' I think .. possibly Yardley or Coty??

Then in the mid 90s after uni and in my first job, I loved CKOne, Tommy Girl and Very Valentino.

There was also Chloe, but it doesn't smell like 'Chloe' now. Was in a roundish bottle if I remember rightly.

Is this the one that smells quite zesty?

The "proper" perfumes that were popular were Burberry, Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet, DKNY Delicious (?), CK (supposedly) and some Anna Sui one. Ultraviolet, Delicious and Burberry were EVERYWHERE

I could go on! I loved perfume as a teenager as I never felt very good about my looks, (although looking back, I looked amazing. Youth is wasted on the young)!

@notawittyname1954 I picked up some vintage Cachet on eBay a few years ago. Together with some Courant.

Did nobody else wear Davidoff Cool Water? I used to splash around in it as an older teen, like a bird in a birdbath. It had my poor driving instructor choking in the passenger seat!

I remember that! I can even smell it now. I loved it too. Odd thing to remember but I bought that the day Diana died. I found a picture. Oh the memories.

I did but I was probably early 20’s by then. I had Cool water for day and JPG for night.😂 My MIL bought my youngest son (13) a bottle of the men’s stuff for Christmas and he loves it too.
