Just that, really. Have you tried any and what would you recommend, and what would you avoid, please?

I use Nyk1 I'm on my second tube, it really works for me, the only thing is after a while my eyelids turn dark in colour, one of the side affects, so then I give it a break of around 3 weeks, then start again.

sarahh96 · 21/03/2023 16:38

Ooh following. I've often been tempted but never bought as I wasn't sure if it actually works or not. Be interesting to hear others thoughts

CharlotteSometimes1 · 21/03/2023 16:41

I’m using the Beauty Pie one, it’s working really well on my lashes and I also use it on my brows. The patchy part of my brows is now filling in, but where my brow disappear into nothing remains the same.

PinkArt · 21/03/2023 16:48

Revitalash definitely works but it's soooo expensive. Im trying rapidlash at the moment. It's a little bit too early to tell if it's doing as well but it looks like it might be

Wherehaveallthepopchipsgone · 21/03/2023 16:50

I use UK lash and have had loads of comments, two of my friends bought it too once they had seen how much mine grew! It takes about 6 weeks to work though and you have to remember to apply nightly. They are usually doing a 15% off code if you look at their social media.

FanSpamTastic · 21/03/2023 19:03

I am using the Ordinary multi peptide - but I'm only about 3 weeks in. I think they look a bit better but not massive difference! But it's not caused any issues so I'll keep going! Not been v good at doing every night!

Haver74 · 21/03/2023 19:07

UK Lash definitely works, I actually have decent eyelashes now.

CosyCoffee · 21/03/2023 19:17

Are you all aware that these kinds of products can cause loss of fat around the eyes and lead to a sunken appearance? Because I don't think this side effect is publicised enough.

Cinnamonandcoal · 21/03/2023 19:18

Revitalash works.

peachgreen · 21/03/2023 19:22

Rapidlash works. Not quite as well as Revitalash but it does.

I had this with Rapidbrow, lost fat around my lids which made a childhood scar stand out a lot, so disappointed as it worked so well.

Really ? 😩

applespearsbears · 21/03/2023 20:11

I used UKlash and it definitely works

Jewelanemone · 21/03/2023 20:13

I'm using Revitalash but have had a 10 day break due to conjunctivitis. Back on it now, though. I think I can see a difference but maybe wishful thinking 🤔

embarrassed23 · 21/03/2023 20:14

Uk lash

Yes, that puts me off using them

How? What exactly causes this to happen?

You'll have to Google it as I don't really understand it, it's something to do with prostaglandins in the products. I just know it's a widely recognised side effect and can be permanent. I was thinking of using these lash thickeners but was totally put off when I read about it.

JerkintheMerkin · 21/03/2023 21:05

I was so put out at how much darker it made my already dark eyelids that I ended up binning it. Wasn't impressed as it was an expensive one as well. I used Rapid Lash,

pharmachameleon · 21/03/2023 21:06

I wouldn't touch a lash serum with prostaglandin analogues due to the risk of peri orbital fat loss. My eyes looked a look better when I stopped using them a while ago. They also caused my eyelids to darken.

TheChosenTwo · 21/03/2023 21:10

I’ve been using RapidLash for about 6 weeks now, seems to be making a bit of a difference and I was warned about the side effects and went for it anyway. I figure it’s easy enough to cancel out dark circles (I already have them) but to be honest I didn’t give it too much thought and just went for it.
really happy and will keep going and see what happens. One side is notably a bit longer but I sleep on the other side and they’ve always just been overall a bit ‘less’ so might take longer for them to perk up!

LuciferRising · 21/03/2023 21:11

UK Lash works but I have stopped using it after reading about orbital fat loss.

TheRealKatnissEverdeen · 21/03/2023 21:21

Another one who has used both Revitalash and UK Lash with excellent results.

TheRealKatnissEverdeen · 21/03/2023 21:22

@LuciferRising I'm scared to ask what that is...I fear it's going to end my use 😔

RunnyPaint · 21/03/2023 22:29

I use prostaglandin drops for an eye condition. My lashes are longer, but the effect is less than that of pretty much any mascara I've ever used. Really looking forward to the orbital fat loss 😭
