I have treated myself to a YSL Lou Lou bag

It's pre loved from Xupes and it is the medium size one in black calfskin leather with silver hardware

I only ordered it last night and it probably won't arrive until Tuesday. and I am just so excited for it to arrive 😜 and basically just wanted to share. Have not told anyone in rl apart from H

Has anyone else on here got one ?

I’d get a smaller one - lovely bag but it looks to big on your frame - almost a bit Borrower-ish iykwim IMO.

I LOVE the Lou Lou but agree it looks too big on you.

Also with expensive purchases I feel like if you don’t immediately love it, it’s usually better to return or else it may just sit gathering dust!

I think that you made the right decision OP. I think it looks odd to have a bag that size on a chain strap (although I'm not a big fan of chain straps in general).

When you wear it cross body it reminds be of a record bag from the 90s! It's too big.

Haha yes !! It does remind me of those 90s record bags, I actually had one for school 😆

It was emblazoned with a record company logo, wow I thought I was so cool

Just to warn anyone thinking of bag shopping in Selfridges - don't !! I had a right nightmare with them ! Placed my order for the Toy about 9pm last night all seemed fine.
Was too late for next day but it said I could have it on Friday, which was fine

But then this morning I went on the app to see if there was any delivery updates and it said my order had been cancelled!

Rang Selfridges customer services and first of all got someone who was obviously in an overseas call centre. Just kept repeating "it has been cancelled sorry ma'am" and I was like I KNOW!! I dont want it to be so why has it ??? She eventually said someone would ring me back.. then I got a call from this other guy who seemed like he understood more but he said he no idea why and said would take 3/5 days to "investigate" and they could not re order it until that had happened. I asked if I could reserve one and collect in store at the weekend instead but no apparently that wasn't possible

So i said just cancel the whole thing I'll go elsewhere. And found it on net a porter same price and ordered it today for delivery tomorrow. no issues and already had dhl tracking that it's on its way

It arrived omg I love it 😍 I'm obsessed

Please excuse yet again the scruffy outfit 😆 just finished work. perhaps I will actually wear it with something decent over the weekend 🤦‍♀️
