How do you make perfume stick?

What do you spray it on to?

if I’m wearing a scarf I’ll spray it on to that. If not I’ll spray it on to my top layer of clothing.

But I never feel like I have that waft of smell I get when I walk past others in public… If you know what I mean?

Where has the best sticking power? Is it directly on to the skin?

But Joe or Jane Bloggs might not want to smell you.

I don't want to smell body odour, cigarette smoke or watch people spitting but...

I adapt what I wear though so if I'm say at work then know I'm going to the dentist, I would make sure it was a very subtle scent

Tough luck Joe Bloggs then. I dont wanna listen to shitty music on the bus/tube, or hear people swear in the street, see any ads on the TV, see Conservative party win another election, or people write stupid posts on mumsnet- but people will do so anyways. It's one of those things then. Chosing an appropriate scent is the key, but perfume was designed to be noticed and appreciated, it's just your wishful thinking that only certain people should be able to notice it.

Layer your perfume is the usual advice. So shower gel, body lotion and perfume.
