plus size funky wedding co ord

Am a wedding guest in June - definitely do not want a dress- I'd love a suit (see image attached) but if I get hot I'd be worried the trousers and top would look a bit lumpy without the jacket
So I was thinking of a flippy silk co ord maybe in a jewel colour or a floral - sort of like a luxe pyjama vibe
Anyone seen similar? I'm short and can be an 18/20/22 dependent on shop and am an apple shape

I love how Trinny Woodall dresses but I am the exact opposite of her shape!

I think this would be a great back up if the others aren't right- it's floppy and nice fabric- like a relaxed summer suit- again I could easily split

Pretty spenny but is this the kind of thing you're looking for OP?

I like the luxe look of this but I think the tie front puts me off as it doesn't make it very adaptable

Yes I too have found lots of nice stuff through various posts. I am a size 20 and am amazed at the number of sites now producing larger sizes.

I’ve enjoyed looking for co ords and posting on your thread OP. It’s proper S&B, and a little thinking outside of the box outfit-wise. I love the challenge of a tricky outfit, where you have to tread a fine line. Don’t compromise; get something that makes you feel and look exactly as per your vision.

Any contenders yet?

Definitely the Next Trinny one and the Phase eight red and white set .
I like the jungle print open kimono set as a back up

Work has got a bit busy so I haven't ordered yet

I will update when I get them though as I will love advice on shoes etc
My first thought was platform brogues or white trainers - but the Phase Eight one needs a sandal I think

Also- what for my hair? I want something a bit special but obvs not a fascinator- a headband? A flat beaded clip to wear at the side? what do you stylistas think?

I too am a sturdy girl. :) I bought a black jumpsuit for a black tie optional ball a couple of weeks ago and I had so many compliments and even better that that I felt good in it and it was incredibly comfortable. I had a sequined jacket over it which I really didn't need and stashed it as soon as I could.

I had considered a jumpsuit but I am also a capsule queen so if I can get a co ord that I can split up after the fact I would be happier

Can I ask where this jumpsuit is from?was going to suggest jumpsuit. I'm a good 18 with boobs. Jolie moi jumpsuits amazing, silk Fred website sell them. Go to 20 or 22 in it. Won't look too flouncy but Will keep the length if you are big boob like me!
