Excited as I just ordered myself a new bag, I could have spent a fortune but refrained.
has anyone else purchased a beautiful new bag?

What did you order?

Meeeee and I really want the small Sadie satchel but I just can't justify it. There are some good deals this year.

What did you get?

I got the Alexa. It looks beautiful!

The logo on the Sadie puts me off - i think it’s quite tacky

I like the black with silver hardware. Nicer than the gold which I agree is a bit blingy.

Just went on to have another nosy! It is so much nicer with the silver!
Tessie hobo was another shout!

I really want it but consoling myself with my beautiful red festive Lily.

@Whatsthestorymorningglory95 I have the Tessie hobo from the first time they sold it (2017, maybe?) and I love it so much. The price today is lower than I paid in the sale 5 years ago, so I think it’s an absolute bargain considering the price rises for some of the other bags.

I almost bought it in a different colour today but went for a camera bag instead. I wasn’t expecting there to be such great prices, so had already spent my Christmas money on other things!

Can I ask what colour your Tessie Hobo is? I love a slouchy bag. I have a Coach bag (Charlie possibly) and it is very structured. I prefer soft, buttery leather.

@ReadingIsFundamental Just looking at the Tessie hobo it’s a beautiful bag and a real bargain but can’t decide if I prefer the oak or the oxblood - think the oak looks great in the photos but do love the oxblood bags in real life. What did you go for?

It was named after Alexa Chung. I remember when it came out. It must be 10 or 12 years ago maybe.

@Whatsthestorymorningglory95 and @MrsJamieFraser22 My hobo is the oxblood, and the leather is gorgeous. I was incredibly tempted by the oak today but decided to be sensible and go for a clay camera bag instead as I don’t have a bag in that colour.

Thanks @ReadingIsFundamental after much deliberation & consultation with my daughters I went with the oak as I think I will use it more (oxblood is beautiful though)

I think I might, like you say - it can be returned!
I wonder if black is a bit boring? But I think it would get used a lot!
