Excited as I just ordered myself a new bag, I could have spent a fortune but refrained.
has anyone else purchased a beautiful new bag?

I have got in there - hairbrush, diary, glasses case, wallet, phone, lip gloss, keys. There is a divider and a pocket on the back. Love that for car park tickets etc.

I'd say it's fine for day to day essentials. You wouldn't be able to get a 4 pint carton of milk in it the way I once did with a large Seth bag. (Needed the strap sorting after that though)

I wish they had put an extra strap hole in but that's easily sorted. I'll probably swap out the strap. Really like the fastening. It's magnetic and faff free.

Thank you @whirlyswirly that’s really helpful. I don’t tend to carry too much stuff around with me but I do have quite a chunky purse which takes up space.

I saw they had a Sadie in a beautiful grass green with silver hardware but that’s sold out now ☹️

I am very tempted by the sale but my much lusted over bag is not reduced (black Lily).

Re chunky purses, I decided during the pandemic that card holders are the way forward. I don't carry cash any more.

@Toomanylosthours hope yours comes soon mine was ordered on 27/12/2022 and afraid not, am working all weekend so it is staying wrapped up at home, but will be having an outing one day next week, what did you buy?

Right, with regret, my cloud Sadie is going back. I ordered a replacement strap for it but due to the buckles it just looked odd. I just don't think it will get the use it deserves and the colour isn't going to work with as much as I'd like.

Keeping the eggshell coloured mini one and will take it to get extra holes in the strap. It will be useful for holidays and smart summer dos.

@HandbagsnGladrags the tan one is fab. If I didn't have a tan amberley I'd have gone for that.

@whirlyswirly that's a shame but if you think you won't use it, it's for the best.

@whirlyswirly that’s a shame, cloud is a gorgeous colour. But it’s sensible to return if it won’t get used much.

@Whatsthestorymorningglory95 Ive also been coveting a Lily in black, it’s a beautiful classic. But I’m not sure I can justify nearly £1K. I’m not judging at all anyone else but as my Dh pointed out, it would be a going out bag rather than an everyday bag so cost/wear etc.

Ive seen a lovely Aspinal bag that I’m considering as an alternative.
