M&S 12 days of Sparks - it's back!

Can't see a thread, please correct me if I'm wrong.

M&S has brought back its 12 days of Sparks offers. It was notoriously bad last year, but day 1 and I have a free hand cream to pick up in store. Not sure if I'll get the chance, but seems a stronger start than last year at least.

Someone somewhere came up with the idea of Sparks. They were probably paid a large amount of money for its implementation. 🙄
Like @OneFrenchEgg I'd much prefer a more traditional type loyalty card.

20% off decorations this morning. Still got my fingers crossed for gin/Prosecco/Percy pigs.

Draw for Snowman tickets ! I’d happily donate my bottle of Prosecco ( day one ) to NOT go ! Took my kids 20 years ago , theatre full of sugar-high screaming kids and parents snoring 😂

I also got 20% off decorations today.

Day 1- Free Percy Pigs (will claim)
Day 2- 20% of bottle of M&S Prosecco (maybe)
Day 3- 32% off Tonies (won't be claiming, don't even know what they are!)

I did this and followed the thread last year. There is rotation so you do see the things some people get on one day come up for you on another day - but not all. It does vary. So unfortunately, for anyone thinking 'I'll get the free gin later on' - you may do, but then again you may not. 'Tis a mysterious algorithm!

I agree though that it's all free stuff so look on the bright side - and definitely claim any free food gifts if you are going into the store (not saying make a special trip) for your local food bank if you don't want them yourself.

Today, for me it's 20% off knitwear.

So I've not actually had anything tangible yet as part of this offer.

I don't really understand how M&S seem to get it wrong all the time . It's always so over complicated . Big IT app thing opening doors to win an advent prize but it's so specific - 15% off one brand of crisps. Why don't they just do something appealing to everyone - £5 off a £50 shop etc.

I do receive vouchers for money off , but I only just remembered the other day to use the fiver off an over 50 pounds shop.
I'm not one of their regulars or that organized, but if you are , you can save a bit this way.

I went to M&S to pick up my free hand cream but they had none left so presumably that won't come up later for other people? Today was money off bath towels - why would I buy those now instead of waiting for the sales?

Someone said that there are alternatives if you click the T&C's.

My branch has no gin left and the Prosecco shelf was looking sparse.

They didn't even have Percy sweets in stock when I called in my nearest store yesterday!

I collected my light up lantern today. There were loads at the entrance to the food hall.

I’m really chuffed with it so even if I don’t get anything else I’ll be happy

Day 1 - missed
Day 2 - 15% of a bag of chocolate buttons
Day 3 - 32% of Tonies.

Nothing so far that remarkable.

Does the tea light lantern come with some teabags too?

So pleased I managed to get my gin on day one or I would have given up by now!

Also £1 of shortbread light up lantern here today. More bloody shortbread! That was my free gift on day 1 (which I couldn’t claim because they had sold out and there’s no alternatives listed).
