Tights and sandals. Yes or no?

Let me start off by saying I was firmly I the no camp on this previously, but I'm seeing it a lot again and as with any trend once you start getting used to seeing it, you tend to warm up to the idea. So now I'm considering wearing a shorter Sequin party dress with tights and platform heels.

What are your thoughts? And if you're open to it / a fan of the look would you say black semi-sheer or opaque would be better? Sandals will be black btw.

If you've found this page in search of tights that have been tried and tested by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best tights useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ

Love both of those @NegroniLover and @KimmySchmitt Mine are similar but a higher heel. Like the Esska Victoria heeled sandals.

As for VB's I don't love the shoes themselves much either tbh. But I don't hate them either lol

Absolutely yes!

It's a very cool look, Studio 54 vibes. Love it!

It's a current look , up to you if you choose it ..

I actually think bare arms and tights looks very unbalanced regardless of fashion..

I'd wear tights and sandals if my arms were covered
