I think this year’s AC threads have been my favourite. Really looking forward to the daily opening ones.

I’ve just succumbed to the mac BF set, as I had a code. I wear Mehr and the bag is cute 😊 I have resisted the mac AC so far.

I haven't seen Harvey nics re-emerge. I guess they decided that they weren't willing to reduce it, so have instead removed it in a huff 😂

@IDontKnowWhatYouMean my employer buys into a rewards program, they had a click through code thing, I bought it via that. Boots still have the tin for £39 but I really wanted the Mehr lipstick.

Same on Selfridges. Just checked my spreadsheet and it scored v low (already have the CT palette, tho it’s lovely). Like the lippy and the perfume, but not the AB cream…

Anyway it’s out of stock again 😂

It came back online today for a short while, still full price. Then disappeared again saying sold out this time.

Managing to resist Selfridges

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz for the Laura Mercier, you need to go to the Mega deals page and click the 50% option. The LF website is awful for what it shows you and how it prices things. I think there are two LM sets on the site which are essentially the same: this year’s at 20% off, and last year’s at 50% off.

For those interested in the Liberty Fragrance calendar, Topcashback has 15% off, taking the price to £188, which finally looks decent value.

I tried that…still coming up at £37.50, although it’s showing as the only kit available in the 50%,

@SoloCat £37.50 is half the original RRP of £75. They also have an updated set on the site at £82 less 20% (so c£66). I occasionally buy from LF when their prices are too good to resist, but I actually really really dislike the way they price and market things. Thankfully Hut Group don’t use the same tactics on the Cult Beauty site - though from the comments on the CB advent calendar pricing on TikTok they have been doing it there.

I dare not even open up TikTok as it’s a rabbit hole I definitely do not want to go down, no matter the bargains. I’ll leave that to braver souls than I ! It’s like the Wild West 👩🏻‍🌾
With regards to the Laura Mercier set, thankfully I did get the right discount…just hope it’s not out of date and smelling that horrible synthetic scent, like the perfume you spray on in stores that smells like it’s been there since the shop opened 😂

I wonder whether Selfridges actually have any calendars. The way that they keep going in and out of stock all day seems like a website glitch. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't actually have any and have to refund everyone.
