Where do you buy your bras?

Had a bra fitting for the first time in 6 years. Nothing I have is the right size. Quick look on M&S, Boux Avenue, John Lewis but not feeling inspired. Where do you usually buy your bras? Looking for DD+ ranges!

Tbh M&S but I find each retailers fit is different so it’s trial and error to find which fit is best for you

Lollypop701 · 13/11/2022 01:12

Oh and I’m the other end of the scale with a b cup

M&S and John Lewis - usually the And/Or range.

but was looking at Freya the other day, might try them www.freyalingerie.com/uk/en/

I have the same problem. DD is 29 and is an expert on shopping. Money is no object to her and she says h&m are very good.

SirenSays · 13/11/2022 02:05

Asos

Brastop.com

Good discounts, and DD plus.

Simply Be online. It's taken over from Fig Leaves. Great for larger sizes and you can return if they don't fit.

I buy mine from matalan. They are identical to the marks and Spencer DD+. I have a hefty pair and have been very impressed with them

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 13/11/2022 07:24

Every woman I know with big boobs shops at bravissimo.

DeathMetalMum · 13/11/2022 07:28

I shop at M&S, but I know Pour Moi is very popular and we have a shop locally for fitting.

Isabelle70 · 13/11/2022 07:45

I like the Panache bras and buy from local store, Next, Bravissimo or Freeman's. Quite like freeman's as they have discount codes.
Have also seen Bra Stop is good too.

AlfiesGirl · 13/11/2022 07:49

Local department store which stocks Freya and Fantasie (big boobs).

TheOGCCL · 13/11/2022 08:18

I like Panache bras. I’ve always found M&S terrible for bras as a large bust owner. Badly fitting, not much choice in my size. Not convinced about their fitting either. I do get all my knickers there.

Silverstreaks · 13/11/2022 09:06

M&S continue to put women into a band four inches bigger and cup sizes smaller than they should be. They also miss out cup sizes in some ranges making it even more difficult to shop yourself.

If you haven't checked out your BOB size do that and at least have a proper idea of your size to start the rigmarole of finding a bra that fits.

Bravissimo to try on lots then either from there or an eBay outlet. My go to is the Panache Envy.

MrsMoastyToasty · 13/11/2022 09:10

An independent retailer called Perfect Fit just outside Bristol. They stock all the major brands.

clodaghrogers · 13/11/2022 09:11

I'm a 36DD and my favourite bras now come from Tesco. The balcony bra is great. It has side boning and the wiring on the cups is comfortable. It gathers the breast tissue forward and clothes hang so much better. I've tried so many other brands but they all end up giving me a rather matronly profile if you know what I mean.

ouch44 · 13/11/2022 09:13

I just got a couple of amazing fitting Panache bras at Brastop after doing the BOB method that Silvetstreaks has linked to. Boobs are now back where they are supposed to be Smile

devildeepbluesea · 13/11/2022 09:14

Last ones I bought were from Leia, Bravissimo and Brastop.com

Changingplace · 13/11/2022 09:14

I’ve had my last few bras from Curvy Kate, I did an online fitting & they took me down a band size, up three cup sizes and they are the most well fitting bras I’ve had in my life.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 13/11/2022 09:21

I buy online from Freya or Fantasie. I'm a 32E.

Zipps · 13/11/2022 09:24

Ann Summers, 32G is a nightmare. Only ones that scaffold me properly and without discomfort.

Backy · 13/11/2022 09:26

I also like brastop and I found their bra fitting guide really accurate. You put in your best fitting bra, entire it’s size into the online tool, and then answer questions about your boob shoes, about how the current bra is sitting, where your boobs are, where the straps are, what hook you’re on etc then it suggests your best size, brastyle and some particular brands/models.

PurpleBirch · 13/11/2022 09:26

Wacoal bras are perfect for me, 32F, I was measured in John Lewis and Wacoal was recommended- they are a perfect fit and I’ve worn that brand for years now.

happyinherts · 13/11/2022 09:27

Since I've discovered the Flexifit range, I go to M&S.
