Where do you buy your bras?

Had a bra fitting for the first time in 6 years. Nothing I have is the right size. Quick look on M&S, Boux Avenue, John Lewis but not feeling inspired. Where do you usually buy your bras? Looking for DD+ ranges!

Elomi either from our local independent lingerie shop, or from BraStop or eBay. I get the Matilda style as I am large of nork (36H) and they are the only ones that round up and separate rather than give me a boob shelf.

If you like Matilda then Brianna fits v similar, basically look for any that say plunge in the description Smile
Kim fits me well too

AllLopsided · 13/11/2022 23:30

I love Elomi plunge styles too. 'Lucie' is on sale on their website at the moment. Some Fantasie bras are a good fit on me too.

I used to like Curvy Kate but I think I have spread sideways a bit Blush so they're not so good any more. Also most of their styles in my size are now made of stretch mesh rather than satin type fabric and they're less supportive. It's a shame!

Sainsburys Tu range - unpadded and underwired DD+ range works for me - comfortable and supportive. M & S don’t fit me at all, seem to be designed for a more broad shouldered build.

Unbridezilla · 13/11/2022 23:42

Always bravissimo. They are great, knowledgeable and helpful. Such as knowing x style comes up small/large in the cups and understanding that boob shape has a massive effect on whether a bra works for you

Schmeeeee · 13/11/2022 23:43

Bravissimo all the way! I've been every size under the sun from a 36H to my current 30FF. Bravissimo has been the only place that I've ever been able to find anything. The Panache Clara bra has been a constant over the years no matter what my size.

EspeciallyD · 13/11/2022 23:47

I always go back to M&S, I can always find a good fit there (38E). I tried boob or bust for an underwire this summer and found the whole process difficult and unrewarding and went back to M&S with a huge sigh of relief.

Gossard. I have 36GGs and I find them excellent.

Used to love this bra but bought it recently and it felt so hard and quite uncomfortable! Same size as previously. Have you noticed any change?

stevalnamechanger · 14/11/2022 00:53

Only ever Bravisimmo .

Once you know your sizes and brands lots of old new stock sold on eBay !

mackthepony · 14/11/2022 00:57

I bought some recently from Wonderbra and also Warners ( not sure they have that brand in the UK)

There arwboth the non back fat showing (ahem) style and they do smooth out my fat back

Happy with both brands

Moon22 · 14/11/2022 00:59

primark.

Primark have a lot more bigger sizes now AND a mastectomy range which is a godsend, compared to the feeble M &S selection. I bought 3 last week for £20. 40DD and they fit perfectly

And so comfortable Smile

Topseyt123 · 14/11/2022 01:04

M & S for me. They are the only place I can seem to find my size in non-wired (I hate underwired bras).

Chloefairydust · 14/11/2022 06:23

M&S, ted baker, Victoria secret all do nice bras

sanityisamyth · 14/11/2022 06:42

Bravissimo

OrangeBlossom28 · 13/11/2022 09:08

Bravissimo to try on lots then either from there or an eBay outlet. My go to is the Panache Envy.

Same. Our bravissimo branch closed so I now just buy only that bra in different colours online. I can never seem to find it cheap anywhere. My skin can be temperamental with edging and stuff, and I only seem to suit certain ones so it removes all the stress and guesswork

RampantIvy · 14/11/2022 06:45

The bra selection at the Meadowhall branch of M and S is amazing and huge.

TolkiensFallow · 14/11/2022 06:47

Good advice here ladies! I’ve not been able to find a good fit since prekids 6 years ago.

user1497787065 · 14/11/2022 06:48

I buy Elomi bras from an independent lingerie shop. They fit my large and lopsided after breast cancer surgery boobs.

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 14/11/2022 06:52

Just had some from Yours & I’m really impressed. I’m 40E but need to have non wired bras for comfort so am always concerned about getting enough support. I got 2 that look a bit like crop tops & honestly they are so comfortable - I can almost forget I’m wearing a bra! The other 2 are lacy & fit perfectly. None of that “ overflow” at the side that you sometimes get & they give good support. Lovely colours too. Also very quick delivery & reasonably priced.

beenrumbled · 14/11/2022 06:53

Bravissimo or Brastop- both good
