think carefulyl abotu what clothes colours suit you and use htem in your shadow.
i like a heavy colour just ont he lid then masked a bit by mascara as i haev deep set smaller eyes

green eyes look great with purples, especially smudgy bruise colours. Also navy blues.

Also bronzy green really works, brings out the hazelly highlights in my eyes

silvery grey and black (steady, though, too heavy handed and the Joan Collins look is never far away)

Coppery browns

Don't like pale blues (annafrid from Abba not a good look unless you are 21) pinks (rabbit with myxamatosis) or dark, matt brown (unflattering imo)

Hmm nope, both those Lancome models look like freaks! Would even more so irl up close and personal. Yet to be convinced turquoise eyeshadow doesn't look like a drag queen or a mad old lady.

for everyday wear I use the beige rose Bourjois eyeshadow, think it's about £3.99 or something. I love it. Goes on easily, doesn't end up in the creases of your eye lid by the end of the day, and can look quite subtle and natural if only a little in applied, or more striking if more is applied.
