I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

I might hold on so. I’m really not sold on any of them this year (a first for me) so will see what’s left. If there’s nothing, I’ll make my own, using the Space NK calendar from last year.

Cult beauty will release their boxes/edits soon and probably the goody bag too

If you really want it you should get it. But it's not such an amazing calendar that it is likely to sell our instantly. Its a gamble.

@TheDuchessOfMN I saw that cult was advertising its boxes would be 40pc off rrp. Which is shocking value. But let's see.

JL arrived. Looks fab but does smell strongly of lavender, which makes me feel queasy! So I think I can guess what I’ll be regifting!

I went through them all again (!) tonight and finally ordered Space NK. Thanks again for the code @bewarethetides

I think the strong lavender smell with the JL calendar is from the Neom candle.

I had tried to order the Feel Unique/Sephora one @OchonAgusOchonOh and even had it in my bag in €, but when I went to checkout, it said it couldn’t be delivered to Ireland. It was on the .ie website. It’s so disappointing and has really taken the fun out of advent calendars for us.

Yes, I had to remove rhe candle and put it in a sealed bag. That's a candle you don't even have to light 🤣🤣

That's terrible @TheDuchessOfMN.I think I got feel unique calendar before so it's a new policy then.

Really feeling like the poor relation here in relation to the calendars. On the plus side, I don't have to enter all the products in my spreadsheet.

That’s so annoying! I used to live in the EU and have had the same experience in years gone by.

The lavender smell has abated but I agree that it’s the candle so if it bothers me I’ll take it out. DD will love it.

The lid of one of one the hair masks in my Cult Beauty is off and it's spilled all over that drawer 😡 luckily it's thick so it didn't drip into any others

I'm getting the CB AC for my birthday. I've bought myself the Style/Latest in Beauty and am thinking of using it as a diet incentive and opening a drawer every time I've lost a pound.

I'm hoping it works. I'm planning on opening the first door when I've lost the 3lbs I've put on recently. That will take me to X st 13lbs which seems a good place to start. Then a lb a door.🤞

Argh, this is so annoying. I just tried to order the Sephora AC on the German Feel Unique site yet when I try to pay for it, it says it doesn’t ship here! Why is it showing on the site in the first place then!?!?

In better news my Cult Beauty AC arrived today. Haven’t had a chance to open it yet, so will have a quick peek that nothing is broken.

And what's even worse on the Feel Unique site is you get this pop-up when you go to buy it. The punctuation means that it reads as the pre-ordering for dispatch on 17/10 is exclusive to UK and Ireland (full stop after Ireland and no punctuation after 2022), yet they don't ship to Ireland. I presume the exclusive offer actually refers to the free beauty bag.

I could deal with it not being shipped to Ireland but the incorrect punctuation just adds insult to injury.

Having bought the JL calendar (and pleased that I did), I am now eyeing up the Harrods one as there are quite a few products I use anyway.

One thing I don't need any more of is the REN AHA Tonic - I seem to have acquired several years' supply. Has anyone discovered another use for it (other than as a facial exfoliant)?

@Stoic123 I think I'm one of the few people who loves and actually buys REN tonic! You could also use it on the tops of your arms if you have any keratosis pilaris, or for hard skin on your feet? I just use it on my face but I can imagine it would work quite well elsewhere.

The text on the website is so misleading @OchonAgusOchonOh . On the upside the lack of EU calendars does make choosing much easier!

If you have a lot of that AHAtonic to use @Stoic123 you could also use it on your chest and backs of the hands.

I have about a million tubes of Elasticizer. It never gets used as I don’t have time to wet my hair and then laze around with a mask on before getting in the shower to wash it off. Has anybody else got any suggestions for other uses?

Exactly @chloechloe. There's really no danger of us getting carried away and ending up with 5 calendars.
