I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

Very tempted by the Sephora this year! All products I'm willing to use which is a bonus. It's probably too much to ask but do you think they will have any discounts or free 'with spends' on this soon or is it worth jusyt oing for it incase it sells out?

Hardly any have actually sold out @psuedocream3 but depends on how much you want it. I have the one I wanted with a discount code but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s reduced later. There will be later bargains I think and might pick up another then but nice to know you have one. I would wait a couple of weeks and see unless you really want it, in which case go for it….

It does look nice on further review I realise it’s not rich cream but the facial oil, which is a lovely oil. Like the make up element, well balanced. Has that No3 treatment but you may like that product it’s so subjective

I think FU/Sephora looks pretty good - not revolutionary but quite a lot of products I know I like and haven’t seen much this year; eg the Omorovicza mask, the AA Rose shower oil, and the AB cream rather than rich cream. Also a really good mix of products, and the high value isn’t a result of including any of the stupidly priced brands (111skin, Barbara Sturm, MZ Skin etc). But as I definitely don’t need any more calendars I’m prepared to wait to see if a discount or GWP will become available. Maybe some launch offers when they rebrand as Sephora next week?

I agree. If I hadn't bought the CB, I would definitely go for this. The black eyeliner, the nail varnish, the eyeshadow palette are the only items I absolutely would not use. There are a few more I wouldn't get terribly excited but as there are 34 items in total, they can be ignored.

Sephora looks good . But already bought mine and definitely can’t justify another one just a shame it has been released so late.

I am loving their box M&S are always so imaginative with their packaging. Not sure of the contents not as good as previous years I don’t think but with lots of small minis it would be good for holidays and at £40 definitely worth it. I will probably buy it after saying I definitely won’t get another one!

My replacement John Lewis calendar has come and the candle in this one is even more cracked than the last! Really pissed off now. Will have to get 2 buses to the nearest John Lewis store and see if I can get it in store as I don’t trust another delivery 😠

@JourneyToHappiness That's such a shame. Please do check if they ahem them in store as my nearest big JL doesn't.

I was thinking I must do the same @PomRuns - check the candle in the one I've got for DD.

I’ve emailed customer services first to see if it’s possible to just refund me for the candle, if not will give the store a call.
it’s number 25, must be because there’s 2 glass items together, or maybe my local dhl drivers are very careless!

Just checked and the items in my Box 25 are ok, but it's a really dodgy way to pack two glass items. I've just wrapped the one in tissue, so it should be ok now until Christmas Day! Smells gorgeous!

I've just received the John Lewis advent calendar and it's fantastic value for the price which is £180.

I'll sell off most of it on ebay and keep about 5 treats for myself including the Mac lippy, olaplex, scalp scrub eye cream and face mask

Quite a few full sizes in there so I should easily make enough to cover my treats plus possibly a bit on top

Anything that doesn't sell I'll happily keep but there's some full price products of decent brands Inc dermalogica Sunday Riley bobbi brown etc so should hold its value

Thanks for everyone’s kind words up thread, just to add that my JL calendar also arrived today. I have checked my drawer for the 25th and my candle is fully intact. Sadly, there was no hidden ‘golden ticket’ JL shopping voucher in mine.

I can’t wait to start opening mine on November 1st!

I don't anything selling out right away based on the fact that nothing has except the Harrod's more limited perfume calendar I think.
