I don't know the etiquette of starting a runover of someone else's thread. I hope this is OK. Reminder advent22 gives a hand-wash and handcream free gift on space nk. I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had. The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

Well that woke me up, the chance I might lose my credit. On the bold print it says I can use the credit anytime. And the small print (point C.11) suggests that it expires 12 months after you LEAVE the beauty drop. So as long as you pay your 20 every month it doesn't expire.

It is silly.for me to let it build up though. I was going to buy thr AC but it doesn't appeal.

Ah, I hadn't clocked that it was only after you leave the beauty drop. I think I was just a bit shocked by the idea that I could lose the credit!

Just to advise any My John Lewis card holders that there is currently £15 off a £150 spend. The advent calendar is meant to go live on Monday and the discount offer is valid until 11.59pm the same day. I can’t see any exclusions relating to beauty advent calendars in the offer terms and conditions.

I'm leaning towards JL at the moment and trying to remember to use that £15 discount which I did check on so I know I have it!

I’ve caved and ordered Liberty, I was holding out for Harrods but I’m underwhelmed this year. Loved Harrods last year.

I don’t know whether it will pay out but Topcashback has tracked £40 for the purchase. I’m not in the beauty drop.

I think I’m going to go for CB or Harrods if it ships abroad. As I’m in the EU it limits the choice a lot, which makes life easier! I think John Lewis is a fab offering this year, but it doesn’t ship abroad.

I think CB might be on sale tomorrow so I will be anxiously checking my emails!

Yes CB is tomorrow according to beauty advent calendar.net I've just had a look back at my emails from last year and I ordered at 9.09am, so will be keeping my eye on my emails around 9am!

I read about the Libery Beauty Drop but I don't think I really understand how it works.

I didn't realise that credit could be used for the calendar, I thought it was more like a subscription beauty box service. Is it not?

You pay your 20 quid a month and that is banked, like a voucher. And then you get your quarterly box as well. It's like getting a gwp for buying vouchers you can use on something else.

When I went to pay with my husband's credit card (it's my birthday present) the payment screen sent an OTP code to his mobile for security. I've just had to gatecrash his work Team's meeting to get him to type in the code. Hopefully his meeting wasn't too important. 😉
