Reminder advent22 gives a hand-wash and handcream free gift on space nk.

I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

Disappointed with Harrods. I've taken a fresh look at John Lewis so might opt for that

It’s the multi-brand perfume calendar I’ve always wanted. I think it looks amazing - it’s all niche/high end brands and includes 35ml of the new MFK fragrance and 30ml of a Roja perfume (100ml retails for £595!)

I expect it will sell out fast (it’s going to be very attractive to the resellers to buy and resell individually🙁)

I’ve just ordered one for my daughter. It’s not a bad price considering and the bottles are gorgeous, tiny versions of the big ones. She loves perfume and a lot of the rich moisturisers and serums prevalent in the main ones irritate her skin. Plus she’s only 18 so doesn’t need it. It’s also really hard to find one that doesn’t have red lipsticks in- who wears heavy lipsticks these days?

Has anyone bought the Elemis advent calendar? Thinking of trying it this year.

Liberty it is! My loyalty voucher came through today and stacking that with beauty drop credit and the £10 discount brought the price down to £115. It's also meant I have a £10 loyalty voucher coming in next quarter.
JL was very close, an impressive offering.

I think I’m going to bow out of advent calendars this year. Even with the arrival of a substantial Liberty loyalty voucher this morning and beauty drop credit. Every calendar has things I don’t want, like or need in it so I can’t justify it. I think Fortnums is still the best content but too similar to last year. Liberty is very pretty and has some things I would really like but rubbish like an AA rollerball which are terrible quality and value and the lipstick won’t suit me. Maybe I’m being too sensible!
Think I’m going to make a wish list of nice Liberty things and when they have a good gwp have heaps of credit to have them cheaply! However I fear I will have FOMO in December 😂

Me too….kept checking in the early hours, then gave up…checked earlier and it’s sold out. 🙄 Typical..,thought it would fly out though.

Maybe advent calendars have gone too far when there's a toothbrush one Imagine the delight in opening the door to a pack of dental floss!

Disclaimer- I go through it and take out the products I think my nieces will like, for Christmas!

@LoveLabradors I know what you mean. In the past I have had Holland and Barret, Charlotte Tilbury, Glossybox, ASOS, No7, M&S, Space NK and Debenhams which was a surprise hit in advents. Also M&S and No7 beauty boxes and the occasional subscription. Some great products including favourite make up and some absolute duds. Some overly potent but expensive creams as I have sensitive skin. Still using up some and have repurchased others, including 2 products today having thought what I liked. None of the high end appeal although I think will get Liberty one day as the box alone is lovely. This year I have ordered Debenhams as I like the selection, JL was an almost but that No3 hair treatment is so annoying- who has the time to rinse hair, treat and then wash? Also I don’t notice any improvement with it and my hairdresser said to be careful not to leave it on too long. Might get No7 if it looks good for me but other than that I am very happy with Debenhams and don’t want to pay more. If next year looks good and I have used up products by then maybe a higher end one but not this year

I haven’t opened mine, now panicking I may need to check…can you imagine how disappointing it would have been on Day 6 in December!
Liberty should be pretty good on sorting it out…if I check later I’ll let you know, but hopefully someone may come along sooner who has opened theirs. You could try checking the reveals on YouTube 😊

@SoloCat sorry you missed it. Like last year’s advent though, it might come back in stock (or be available in store if that is an option). I have an insomnia problem - upside is I bought mine at 4:30am this morning.

I’m glad I went for Liberty now that I’ve seen the main Harrods advent contents. As there are lots of us who have, I’m looking forward to the daily opening thread in December!
