OK for mother of the Groom?

Or are the colours a bit girlish ?

I'm seeing it with a bag and shoes in one of the detail colours (probably not the same one) and some sort of ornament in my hair, rather than a hat or fascinator.

It's a fairly big but working class do, if that's a reasonable way to describe it.

Very pretty, I think it would be perfect.

mellongoose · 27/06/2022 14:21

I would say yes. It's beautiful. Great choice.

Ideal

Portonic · 27/06/2022 14:47

Very pretty and elegant. Suitable for any of the wide range of weather conditions you might encounter.

itsgettingweird · 27/06/2022 14:49

I love it.

I think a pashmina type shawl for evening in that Rich cerise/pink would really bring out the beautiful colours in that dress.

bareface99 · 27/06/2022 14:49

Love it

SpeckledlyHen · 27/06/2022 14:50

Absolutely gorgeous dress and perfect for a wedding I would say. Very elegant and classy.

Yodaisawally · 27/06/2022 14:51

I really like it

User354354 · 27/06/2022 14:51

What do you mean by ornament in your hair?

Im sure what I am visioning is not what you mean ? 😂

Dress is beautiful by the way.

calmlakes · 27/06/2022 14:53

Very nice OP.

newbiename · 27/06/2022 14:57

Lovely. If the weather is hot will the sleeves be too warm ?

I don't know really 😆

Some sort of fancy hairslide? Basically, I plan to avoid wearing a hat.

Marvellous!

Would the yellow colour in the centre of the white flowers be OK/ridiculous for shoes? And the deep pink for a bag?

Lovely dress.
I'm going to be a mother OTB in September and am planning on wearing a hairband. Possibly a feathery one.
I realise they've already become a bit clichéd.
Keeping a eye on your thread, OP, because the idea of some sort of ornament sounds nice, but I'm not sure what I mean by it.
Maybe a slide, but I've got very fine hair and it's liable to slip out.

PossiblyPertunia · 27/06/2022 15:59

Definitely it's beautiful! Make sure the bridesmaids aren't wearing pale blue but other than that, perfect!

Dress is lovely.

Take a look at Lucy Worsley (historian) for hair slide inspiration. She often wears lovely one's. The one she wore for her most recent TV series would be perfect for a wedding I think

BruceAndNosh · 27/06/2022 16:28

Gorgeous.
At first I thought the round neck was a bit plain but I see that it's got a plaited detail

theemmadilemma · 27/06/2022 16:37

Beautiful dress. Love the idea for shoes/bag.

DisforDarkChocolate · 27/06/2022 16:40

Gorgeous dress and very appropriate

PaddleBoardingMomma · 27/06/2022 17:23

Finally! An absolutely beautiful dress that I can say 100% I love 🤣 often times on here I'm biting my tongue but that dress is perfect

Cervinia · 27/06/2022 17:32

I gasped when I saw this. It is so beautiful and so me! Pity I don’t have a wedding to go to.
