Aldi Lacura - anyone else not impressed?

On the back of so many positive reviews I bought -
Original cleanser
Glow toner
Caviar Day & Night creams
Q10 serum

Of these I’d only buy the cleanser again. I have ordinary skin, nothing sensitive or special about it but after using the above x2 daily for nearly three months my skin just looks dull and lacklustre. The day cream takes longer to rub in and absorb and then my skin feels tacky to touch afterwards for a little while.

Sadly I’m not impressed and wondered if anyone else has been disappointed or it’s just me? 🤷‍♀️

Smelly and makes my skin come out in a rash. If you read the ingredients it’s a big mix of chemicals.

How is this post foolish?

Aldi Lacura moisturiser contains almost 40 chemicals, one or several of which cause a rash on my skin. Like many with sensitive skin, I cannot identify which component of this complex mixture is problematic. Rather than risk further rashes and waste more cash, I stick with simpler products that work.

Others who have similarly sensitive skin might want to take heed of this, hence my post.

Do you work in skincare? ..why do you care so much that you would hurl baseless insults at a stranger on an internet forum? 🤷‍♀️

I get what you are saying, as an owner of sensitive skin myself, the longer the ingredients list the greater the possibility that I will react to it!

I’m not a fan of the moisturiser. I do like lots of bits from there though. The hot cloth cleanser, face mask in a blue tube, concealer in a gold pen and the tinted moisturiser are all fab.

I love the Lacura Rejuvelate day and night creams, and the Q10 serum. My adult DDs use expensive brands and over the years they’ve both bought me moisturisers from brands they like, and I’m always relieved to finish them and go back to my absolute favourites from Aldi.
