For me I would say Almond oil moisturiser from Weleda because my skin is so sensitive.

OP posts:

Regular saltwater baths (magic for my eczema)

Greek yogurt face masks (really softening and gentle - I have dry and sensitive skin)

LondonQueen · 13/06/2022 18:17

The ordinary AHA/BHA mask. Makes my skin lovely and soft with a nice glow. You MUST wear sun protection the next day or so though.

Weirdo alert.

I'm loving the YourGoodSkin range from No7.

I also believe that Vaseline makes a huge difference.

lostinwoods · 13/06/2022 19:25

Vitamin C, retinol + sunscreen (results won't happen overnight though).

I notice a big difference in my skin when I clean up my diet, drink lots of water and little to no alcohol.

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 13/06/2022 19:41

Medik8 Crystal Retinol for me, the only retinol my skin can cope with so far. I have also tried the R-Retinoate Intense which was transformative, but very spendy so not a regular purchase.

dontgobaconmyheart · 13/06/2022 19:48

My skin & me prescription skincare is the only thing that's ever made a permanent and noticeable difference to my skin.

Other than that the eucerin 5% urea face cream which is a godsend for my dry sensitive skin.

Pandorapitstop · 13/06/2022 20:05

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.

jeaux90 · 13/06/2022 20:12

Medik 8 range plus wearing Beauty blur by vita liberata over my moisturiser. I'm 50 and my skin looks fab. (Although I do also have Botox and fillers Grin)

Purplehonesty2 · 13/06/2022 20:19

Wild mint 5 step skincare. Has transformed my hormonal acne - I haven't had a big spot since I started using it.

My skin is so lovely and soft - I have really sensitive skin so I was worried about using serum and oil but wow it's fabulous!

Pandorapitstop · 13/06/2022 20:30

jeaux, I have some Body Blur, but I hadn't thought of using it on my face.
Is that instead of foundation, and do you just apply a little where needed?

PorkPieForStarters · 13/06/2022 20:37

Burt's Bees beeswax lip balm. I apply generously before going to sleep and it works some magic overnight. Super soft lips, even in winter.

Aesop Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste. It's pricey but my face feels incredibly smooth, soft and moisturised afterwards.

Also, not really a skin treatment but a miracle product that you apply to your skin: Jones The Bones Muscle and Joint Oil. I occasionally get sore joints to the point that the pain wakes me up at night and this pretty quickly soothes it. Smells good, too.

SeeSawSeen · 13/06/2022 20:40

Rosehip oil from Trilogy. I'm slowly getting my red, uneven skintone under control thanks to this product!

Highlyquestionablehoumous · 13/06/2022 20:40

Tretinoin. It took a good while though!

PAFMO · 13/06/2022 20:40

Vit C and tret.
I used various retinols for about 18 months but moved onto tret 2 months ago.
My skin just feels and looks more compact and glowy.

PS, fuck off weirdo Joe.

collywobble · 13/06/2022 20:43

Soolantra cream from my roseacea cleared it up completely in less than 3 weeks

mintbiscuit · 13/06/2022 20:46

Tret and Vaseline

Misunderstoodagain · 13/06/2022 20:48

Korean 10 step routine. Mainly double cleansing. I would have had congested dry skin which was a nightmare to keep clear and hydrated.
Best products for me are from the Mizon snail repair range, mostly the face cream! Just amazing. Mid 30s and finally have the best skin I've ever had. AND factor 50 SUNCREAM!!

MsOllie · 13/06/2022 20:49

Skin and me (tret)

Vitamin C, retinol + sunscreen (results won't happen overnight though).

I’d second all of these.

MissMatty2hats · 13/06/2022 21:22

I was just thinking today that my skin has been behaving itself lately. No breakouts, my pores look smaller and the congestion around my chin seems better. The only thing different that I’ve been using is the Gatineau gommage which I only got as part of a set from QVC because I wanted the tan accelerator. I’ve used it three times in a fortnight and it must be that. I look unusually glowy and smooth. I was quite gutted as I feel I have to keep buying it now!

Oceanus · 14/06/2022 16:32

Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
Avène Thermal Water Spray
Rosehip Oil
SPF 50 - every single day, even during winter
Double cleansing: in the evening using an oil and water-based make up remover; cleansing in the morning too with the water-based one).
Putting on liquid highlighter before foundation.
Peach and cool red lipstick
MAC Fix+
BB corrector/concealer

JanisMoplin · 14/06/2022 16:37

Said this a million times in S and B, but tretinoin. It is a wonder treatment.

spagbog5 · 14/06/2022 16:39

Elemis pro collagen range
It's expensive but my skin looks the best it ever has and I'm nearly 50 .
I'm really really pleased with how it's working for me , my skin looks fresh and plump and my "11's" are much less noticeable.
I was ready to try Botox and filler's before but thought I'd give it a go first and I am so happy
