For me I would say Almond oil moisturiser from Weleda because my skin is so sensitive.

0.025 is the lowest strength and the one you should begin with. But please read up on tret before jumping in gung ho. If you go too hard too fast your skin will freak out.

Apply it at night only
Apply a pea sized amount to your face (20 mins after having washed it. tret on damp skin is to be avoided)
When you first start using it apply twice a week and depending on how your skin reacts build up from there
Always wear an SPF during the day as your skin will be more sensitive to sun damage

It's very much a marathon rather than a sprint with tret.

I wash my face every morning with cold water nothing else. Then I use a moisturiser with spf in it ( currently a £7 supermarket one ) 30spf. Then evening a misceller water and cotton pad. Then eye cream all
over face. That’s it and I have nice skin for 40. Also drink loads of water.
