What's your style this year? I've loved menorcan sandals, arizonas, various little simple strap sandals and this year I'm wondering about something a bit more chunky.

Brilliant thread, I love those Alohas, although I prefer tan for sandals.

I have the crocs huarache from years ago in black and I SO wish they still made them. Mine have finally fallen apart and I can't find anything as good.

Can I get an opinion on the timberlands and doc martens gryphon posted upthread? Very tempted with something chunky and comfy.

And pp with the martens quad sandals, do they feel very high and are the soles flexible like the usual airwair soles? I like the quad but don't want them too high as my ankles aren't the strongest. I'm between the lower sole and the quads.

@MollyVolley What's the sizing like on the Alohas please? I've been eyeing up a pair but I'm between sizes and usually size down in sandals but not sure. The ones I want are made to order so don't want to wait a month and then have to wait again!

I'm the one with the DM Clarissa II Quads...I don't find them too high. The sole is supportive as is the ankle strap however they're really quite heavy. This doesn't bother me but when I read reviews I saw that some people were returning them for this reason so they may not be suitable for weak ankles.

I’ve just ordered some of these. The look comfortable enough and don’t expose my horrible feet!

I have a pair of Toms from last year and picked up some crew clothing sliders in the sale because I am due late summer and fully expect not to be able to reach ankle straps by then 🙈

I love these but what is the inner sole made of? The description says the upper is leather but then says 100% polyester? I prefer a leather inner sole.

Got these to wear with cropped white jeans.

They were both nice enough, although the tan ones started rubbing just trying them out walking around the shop, and the white ones fit a bit strangely over my (very small) bunion.

So I went back to old favourites - just bought a pair of white Birkenstock Arizonas (and also washed my navy ones, which have come up a treat. And I have a black big buckle Arizo paid on their way to me to try out too).

I've just bought these in black and white. I quite liked the pale pink/blue, but thought the black and white would go with more stuff. Looks like it has good grip on them too. Oh well, will see when they arrive!

I have bought the gold gladiators because I have the tan and they're the mist comfortable shoe ever. Also have just got clogs 😀

Most not mist, the gladiator's arent that shiny in real life.

@notasgreenasiamcabbagelooking i wore them yesterday and they are slightly large in the sense there was still space on the footbed but the way you close them you can adjust them that they stay on so you probably would be fine to get your normal size!
