Hush tulle skirt (Floriza?) - help with styling please

I couldn't wait to receive my Hush tulle skirt last year - it was the answer to everything, and finally, I would be Carrie Bradshaw (I need a hand over the face emoji here!). However, things don't always work out as planned, and it has sat in my wardrobe gathering dust. Please help me work out what I can wear it with/for? I absolutely love it. I bought the pale grey/blue colour. I should have waited and bought the navy version, I saw someone wearing that recently with a pink silky blouse looking fab. (she was much taller than me though!).

@Wagsandclaws

I'm always on these boards with full pics of myself ( I had a neck lift 5 months ago as lost 6 stone so had a thread about it ) so I'll put this one up - skin is thanks to Botox, fillers and retinol, nothing worse than people saying 'oh yeah I've got great genes' 🤣🙄 not many people get to 50 with hardly any wrinkles!!

I love clothes so much and have had such a good time buying my ( smaller for me ) wardrobe so decided, as skincare is a bit of a hobby for me that when I lost the weight I needed help with the 'scaffolding' so to speak.

You should wear what makes you happy, I follow a few people on Instagram and frequent these boards far too much and I love lots of clothes that I suppose shouldn't be for ladies in the 50's but I think 'fuck it' you only live once so wear what makes you happy!

Thank you so much for the
Birthday wishes - it was better than last year ( in lockdown ) full length pic attached.

Absolutely stunning.

You nailed that look and pull it off fabulously in that photo, very cool indeed.[/quote]
Completely agree. You look amazing.

Thanks wags - hadn't spotted you also have the navy, looks fab on you!

For my navy one, I hadn't thought that about the ruching. I liked the bottom of the top being a bit neater though - might not need to tuck.

I was also wondering about opposite colours on the colour wheel - e.g. this orange jumper.

Or pinks as I have a moderately chunky pair of pink flats.

@superdupertruper thank you - that's so kind Smile

@ShortKipper orange and pink will absolutely make this outfit. I'd go with both - one for now when it's chilly and the other one for when it's hot.

I might need to buy that pink number it's sooo pretty!
