Kate is in Denmark! In a red (natch) Zara blazer and her favourite wide/leg trews. She may have to up the style ante when she meets CPM as Mary loves her designer labels!

In other Kate news, she and William will be doing a few engagements in Wales next week and the diplomatic reception will not be a gowns and tiara one. Boo hiss!

Yes, no skinnies, no coatdress, no fussy florals. Just wider leg trousers, neat jacket, chic bag, - it's a more modern look.

Are we allowed crowns as well as tiaras? I've just discovered this one. The oldest known crown to be worn by English royalty - known as Princess Blanche's crown. I think it would go with most outfits

In navy nappa leggings and bouclé coat. I think the coat is a little odd with the contrasting section. However, she certainly rocks the leggings. Classic Leti stilettos.

I take my hat off to them walking across those cobbles in heels!!! Not keen on KM's coat. CPM wins this round for me.

Princess Mary looks great. Kate Middleton's coat is very drab and too formal looking.

I like both CPM&Kate's outfits.
If it came to having to choose my fave, I'd go for CPM's.

Mary looks good! Kate's coat dress is a little staid. I wonder if Queen M has back or hip problems? I've seen her adopt that stance in a few photos recently.

I don’t like Leti’s outfit there, far too tassely.
I love Kate’s red jacket and trousers, that’s very flattering, and I also like her hair there too, it’s straighter.
The grey coat-dress is ok, smart, I think she played it safe to avoid fashion comparisons with Mary. Mary looks really good, I love the cream coat, so that’s my preference out if the two outfits. If I was being picky I would have put it with suede shoes rather than leather as I prefer the way they look with opaque tights.
