Royal Style: Gucci and Chanel for the win, coat dresses for the bin!

Royal style continues!
Thanks to Deftly for the thread title. Let's hope there's more Gucci and Chanel.....fewer coat dresses..,.

I lost my treasured Gucci watch with interchangeable bezels ( I still have the box of bezels ).
I had bought an extra silver/steel bezel which glinted as if it had diamonds in it because of the way it was cut. I suppose a bit like that steel tiara someone posted upthread. It was on it the day I lost it.
I had just spent ££ getting it serviced.
I was gutted.
I still hope it will turn up.
I could replace it but it's not the same and I use a Fitbit now so don't need a watch.

I loved that watch.

It was our annual(ish) event for our organisation.

Usually we lowly workers don't get to meet and greet PC, but this year there was a bit of time after he'd done the rounds of the guests, so we had a line up. And photos!

It was only really a very quick hand shake for everyone, but he did take a few minutes to talk to the group as a whole and thank us for our work etc.

Like startup I was far more dazzled than I thought I'd be! - he was very charming. Well, at least he had us all charmed, and we left on a high like a bunch of school girls that had just met their teenage pop star crush.

I lost you all again and am still a few ones behind but I had to say thanks to @KillingMeDeftly for the Max retrospective. I love her so much! When she gets it right she epitomizes exactly what I’d love to wear (swooning at her in the red kaftan style dress with emeralds). And when she gets it wrong she still looks like she’s having so much fun with her clothes.

I can’t stop looking at the pic of her in the gold pant suit. She looks like C-3PO! 😆😍

Para you know full well that no one cares what the royal men wear. But probably an impeccably tailored traditional DJ, I'll have to wait to see the photos before I can confirm that though!

Eaumyword Sorry to disappoint, but I didn't notice. Which I suppose is good, as that must mean that he didn't smell bad!

@iknowimcoming and @LadyEloise1 Y'all have inspired me to wear the watch. Even with it not working, it looks good as a bracelet, but I am planning to get the battery replaced and start wearing it again.

Speaking of the POW, that blazer Kate wore with the black trousers and top is in Prince of Wales check. Not quite literal dressing for a future Princess of Wales, but close.

Was there a cheaper version of the watch? Swatch maybe? I know in my mid teens I wanted one, but it must have been a high street version I’m remembering?

The colour changing watch reminds me of the one in the eighties that everyone else hadI wanted, it was white but had a coloured ring round the face that came off and you could change the colour....does any one remember? Off to Google I go....

Meanwhile, in Copenhagen, CPM is filled with white hot jealousy as she didn't think of it first!

Perfumes ~ I think Charles would wear Acqua di Parma Colonia, Kate would choose Guerlain Champs-Élysées, and Camilla is still using up her large bottle of Caron Nuit de Noel.

There must be an error in the print run of that stamp with CPM, as they seem to have omitted her halo.
