Royal style continues!
Thanks to Deftly for the thread title. Let's hope there's more Gucci and Chanel.....fewer coat dresses..,.

She looks like she is ready to join the team.

It's Max & Wax's 20th wedding anniversary! I've always thought her wedding dress very restrained by her standards, but I didn't know she designed her own tiara.

The Tatler piece mentions who was invited to the wedding and tactfully leaves out who wasn't - Maxima's father!

The veil is beautiful. I hadn’t realised how similar Meghans was to Max’s! Maybe she took some inspiration from her.

I can see the similarity of Max and Megan's wedding dress @gluenotsoup.
I think too that Megan's dress is very similar to Princess Angela of Liechtenstein's wedding dress.

Not keen on that wedding dress style, but I didn't love Meghan's either.
Her evening halterneck dress was absolutemy gorgeous though.

I think Kate always looks so relaxed and at home in sports gear. Some people just do. Personally I look atrocious in anything which hints at ''active wear''

With regard to Meghan's evening wedding dress - was it Four Weddings and a Funeral where they said nothing worse than a vicar with an erection
I think she wisely felt it was too jazzy for the big day affair and kept the fun dress for evening!
And omg active wear. I'd look like I was off to rob a shop in a track suit or one of the teletubbies. I'm much better in tailored clothes...

I didn’t know Eug had 3! I’ve seen the photos of two, both were lovely.

Kate's been out with the in-laws today and dug out the trusty coatdress! I assume it's a rewear as I've seen her in it (or a very similar one) before. It might be Catherine Walker?

Yes, I remember Kate in something very similar a couple of years ago, I agree about probably Catherine Walker. It's very neat, if a bit too reminiscent of a charity school uniform for me, especially with the pale grey colour! Is that a new Mulberry handbag she has?

I'm not sure Camilla's peplum style jacket works very well for her as she's already quite hippy, but I think she suits the deep green colour.

They were at one of the projects that Charles supports, a group of textile workshops, which must have been interesting.

No, they didn't have the extra evening do. Just one reception. There are pictures of Fergie and Diana going off on honeymoon that afternoon.

A quick Google reveals that it is indeed CW and she's worn it before - once to an event with HMQ and then again for Holocaust Memorial Day.

I like the green shade Camilla is wearing, it suits her. Also the cravat style neckline on the blouse?underneath is a bit different, smart looking. Camilla oozes poshness 😂, but I expect she’s very down to earth after a strong g and t.

I agree about the peplum making it a bit bulky.
Kate’s look is ok, very simple and safe. I see she’s taking notes about the block heels 👍🏼

I like Kate's outfit today, but then I do have a weakness for grey. Plus I love the block heels. This is a great photo of her chatting with one of the children.

CPM is everywhere this week in the run up to her 50th, which is this weekend I think. She's given an interview and done (another) photo shoot. The velvet suit in the gold lift looks amazing! The dress is Jenny Packham and is very, very Kate. It really underscores the likeness.

I like the velvet suit photo but I feel like there's too much going on in the other one. Mary in the intricate gown is vying with the giant vase of flowers, elaborate furniture, patterned carpet and the painting on the wall!

I love those CPM photos and I like Kate's grey coat dress!

I agree that the photo of CPM is a bit busy, although I don't like black and white pictures. Also I'm not sure why she's looking at the statue like that.
However, the velvet trouser suit I love! I want it and want to wear it to work. Or maybe just to go to the Co-op. Whatever.
