I think the shape you are is regardless of weight if that makes sense but weight emphasises it.

LisforLemon · 15/12/2021 17:40

You're less appley than me - definite waist there. :-)
Well done.

hazelgrey · 15/12/2021 17:42

Well done on the weight loss
You've got great boobs and lovely legs
You carry your weight in your middle unlike me who is just fat all over which I think is the apple yes
Some great underwear would probably help a lot in this outfit
How have you managed to lose 50 plus lbs and did you really have to give it to me ?
🤣

ginnig · 15/12/2021 17:42

😆

I had a gastric sleeve around 20 weeks ago

Yes, I've always carried round my tummy. Well ever since my first pregnancy

Well done on your weight loss! You look fabulous!

At my largest I was a size 16 and am now a 6 and am always apple shaped. I'm just a slimmer and gym toned apple now compared to how I was. Any excess weight always goes straight on my tum

LiloandTwitch · 15/12/2021 18:28

Thankyou!

I've lost a considerable amount of weight, everything has shrunk but I'm still an apple shape 🤷‍♀️

Goldilocks99 · 15/12/2021 18:54

I was an athletic apple before piling on the weight. I went from core shape, which looked ok to round and rosy, which did not!

I don't have any breasts to speak of though, so you are lucky there.
Your tummy is also a lot flatter than mine, so not sure you are as applelike as me. Perhaps you will find you are an hourglass on loss.
Well done on the loss. I'm still working on it myself, doing 5:2 which has lost me a reasonable amount.

I think I need a good bra but have no idea what to look for

You have a waist you just need a different dress, black and just below the knee, black tights, heels, statement jewellery

I wasn't asking about the dress, I absolutely love it on me Grin

I've spent years only wearing black and I'm done with that!

Wagsandclaws · 15/12/2021 21:57

I've lost just over six stone, I'm still an apple. I could do with losing another two stone but at 12 stone and 5.5 I'm sadly still an apple.

My legs are skinny and my bum is flat. I have quite a large stomach too as well as big boobs, but wear between a 16 and 18 - at 12 stone. It's bloody depressing tbh.

Ps op you look great, well done in your weight loss, you have a lovely waist :-) but yeah, in answer to your question you'll always be an apple, just a slim one!

LiloandTwitch · 15/12/2021 21:59

Oh :( I might have to add lipo to my tummy tuck next year 🤔

Congrats on your weight loss. You need an unpadded balcony bra. Fantasie are good. I love your dress too.

Mermaidwaves · 16/12/2021 09:10

Yes keep the red dress its fab! I'm a massive apple and always wear black, I want to start wearing more colour as I'm bored with it.

Well done on your weight loss Smile

Scottishflower65 · 16/12/2021 09:39

Weights and yoga / Pilates can change your shape to hourglass.

Nothing good can come of just wearing a boring black dress and tights!

The red looks lovely OP, well done on your weight loss

Dinosaurwoman · 16/12/2021 09:58

You look great in that dress OP. To answer your question,I’ve lost over three stone, now a size 12 but still the same apple shape but I don’t mind because I feel so much better for it. I can walk further (miles) and my knees don’t hurt.

Tummy tuck for me next year too!! You look amazing Love the dress 🙂
BusterGonad · 16/12/2021 11:47

I agree, I don't think your shape will change you'll just be a thinner apple, I'm a cross between an apple and a goblet, big boobs, okay bum but hold weight on my tummy area. Also stick with the red dress dress, it looks lovely on you.

IamGusFring · 16/12/2021 12:57

My experience is that your basic shape does not change .
