I like Madeleine’s skirt, especially the bow detail and the lovely fabric looks like heavy silk. Her glamorous outfit is effective for the occasion, a staged photo shoot with added Christmas trees.

Kate’s woollen kilt is a classic day wear skirt, she was out and about at an active outdoor event when that photograph was taken. I think Kate looked super, casual and classy. Both outfits are red skirts worn with black jumpers but there the similarities end.

Max and Wax's Christmas card is very glam. I love mini-Max's green dress.

Her Maj does look as though she could do with a little tailoring help for her red dress, (where is Angela when she is needed?). But it’s nice to see her in a cheerful festive colour.

The brooch Her Maj is wearing is her sapphire, diamond and platinum Chrysanthemum brooch, you can see its little stem if you look closely. She was presented with the brooch in 1946 when she launched an oil tanker named the British Princess.
It is an often seen favourite piece, frequently worn at important or significant occasions, such as for her honeymoon photograph or various anniversary photographs, or at international events.

They manage to look elegant, yet not too formal. Nice dogs, too!

I love Madeleines tiara, that’s beautiful. I also like the tartan skirt and black top, I do prefer it to Kate’s actually, it’s just more flattering I think.
I Love Max’s Christmas card, she looks fabulous there. Incidentally my oldest dd looks very like their daughter in the green dress, can’t remember her name.

Re HM’s ah ... bosoms, apparently she withdrew the royal warrant from Rigby and Peller because the owner committed then unforgivable sin of mentioning the queen in her memoirs. Seems she could do with a decent fitting now.
