General “Waifs and Strays” Beauty Advent Calendar opening thread

As last year, I suggest we use this as a general beauty advent calendar thread for everyone with beauty calendars that may not be covered by other threads or who prefers a general thread. I’m opening FM, Harrods and M&S this year, and will aim to post on both this and the M&S threads.

Please can no-one post any spoilers before 7am on the relevant day.

Just over a week to go. I’m really looking forward to it!

Belated merry Christmas to you all. Have really enjoyed the threads coming up to advent calendar season and the opening every day.

I’m on a serious no buy of any skin care or toiletries now as I have so much to get through. IF I manage to make a big dent in the stash I may buy a beauty calendar next year. Will more than likely get the Degustabox again.

I loved the H&B calendar. It did have a couple of DoDs like a nail file and toothpaste but on the whole I enjoyed it. Lots of products I’ll repurchase and it was put together really nicely.

Absolutely loved my JL AC as I did last year so I'll be treating myself annually I think as everything lasts well into the next year.

I also really like my Boots No 7 AC great items and good value.

Harrods was definitely the pick of the calendars for me this year. First time since they started doing one that my favourite has not been F&M. That said, still happy I got it.

There are a few advent calendars popping up in the sales now - I noticed that Next have Cowshed £98 (was £140) Next beauty pop up advent cal £12.50 (£40) and beauty glam calendar £15 (£30). Anyone tempted, or had these already and would recommend?
