As I am looking forward to this thought would set up a thread so we can compare thoughts on the contents daily come December 1…..

I talked to them on chat. They said they 'can't' send a replacement - IMO if CT provide a spoiled product they should replace it and Space NK being who they are shouldn't have difficulty sourcing a CT mascara.

They offered 3 options for other products, noone of which particularly appeal but I had to pick one. Glad I got the CB Advent too so this wasn't the only offering for that day.

Think they gave 4 options of a different full size product. Hopefully it will turn up. Will let you know.

My mascara products was missing. In the email contact they first told me I should’ve checked it when it arrived in September. After I pointed out it that it would slightly ruin the surprise of an advent calendar if I checked all the boxes, they said they’d send me a replacement. Will be interesting to see if I get it and if it’s also useless!

Birdy that seems to confirm they must have some to send out as replacements

Those of you leaving the Olaplex in overnight - do you wet your hair first then put it on? Then your hair dries with it in and you wash it out the next day?

I’ve never used it before and my hair needs all the help it can get.

Day 3 - I like this product. I usually wet hair put in on in the morning then wash and condition before I go out or go to bed, whichever is first. I find I need a small amount.

I can’t sleep with a shower cap on.

I tried the mascara yesterday. It’s a bit thick/dry but it worked well for me. There’s a video on Charlotte Tilbury’s website where they show how to use it:

I will put in in a cup with warm water in any case, just to see if the formula gets a little thinner and less likely to clump.

@Jooox I wet my hair first and then pop it on. Leave for a few hours or overnight and then wash and condition my hair.

I contacted them by live chat about my leaked serum from day one and whilst I was told they didn’t have another to send they did say they would post me out something in its place.
They were true to their word and I received a face cleanser and Ren body lotion the next day so I can’t fault their customer service, nor the speed of delivery.
My mascara was fine although I was disappointed about the size - I used it yesterday and today without any smudges which is something I cant always say about mascara
Will try the Olapex at some point but I’m happily using a Davines shampoo and conditioner that I bought after loving the bottle that came in last years Liberty calendar.

Day 4
STURM Hyaluronic serum.
Will enjoy trying this one. Have used the Dr Seabagh one for a couple of years, definitely could do with a change.

Never tried dr strum so looking forward to trying it out . I too complained about the mascara so waiting for a substitute, they didn't say what it was so another surprise .

I complained about the mascara on Live Chat, and was immediately offered a replacement free gift because they don’t have the mascara in stock (fine by me)!
It would never have occurred to me to complain before, I would have just accepted it

I looked in the tube again and I’m not even sure there’s any mascara in it at all

You can use it day or night on cleansed skin as the first layer for a moisture boost. In the morning I’d use the day one serum over it. Don’t put it on really dry skin though - a little moisture is important as it locks it in.

I went on live chat re the mascara and have a CT pillow talk on the way !! Impressed by the CS although it should not be happening at all when we’ve spent £200.

Ooh glad I came on as I was going to save the CT mascara but I'll check it's actually got some mascara in it!
I'm very pleased contents wise so far.
It's nowhere near as nice to look at as the Liberty advent calendar so I was a bit disappointed that it's just boxes nor drawers but I do realise how much of a spoilt princess that makes me sound (I don't buy it dH went off piste this year)
I guess more ££ to spend on the products if the packaging is more minimal though.

There's no benefit to leaving it overnight as the actives stop working after 40 min or so.
