Just for a bit of fun.

If every beauty store was closing down and you could only stock up on three items, what would be your holy grails you cant live without?

Mine

  1. Erborian CC cream
  2. A thick moisturiser like Cerave, Nivea or LRP
  3. Any SPF with a strong smell - I absolutely love the scents

doadeer · 06/11/2021 20:42

Haha! Very hard to choose 3, I've left off a balm Cleanser which I use religiously.

Aveda Shampure (my Holy Grail shampoo . BodyShop Ginger S+C if my scalp is irritated)

Molton Brown Orange and Bergamont showergel

Aldi serum, white pump bottle , cannot remember the name though .

NeverDropYourMooncup · 06/11/2021 20:55

Eucerin lotion with Urea.

Psoriderm bath.

Mane n Tail Shampoo & conditioner.

Psoriasis tends to concentrate the mind. I assume/hope I'd still be allowed the steroid cream, emollient/ointment and steroid lotion as they're POM?

Lovewins · 06/11/2021 20:56

Oooh
Alpha-H Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum
Delial super sensitive facial factor 50 spf
Clarins lip balm in the blue tube

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 06/11/2021 20:58

Body Shop Banana Hair Mask
Burt’s Bees lipbalm
Weleda Skin Food

I’m not very high maintenance!

KitKatKit · 06/11/2021 21:00

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser
Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream
Eucerin cream with Urea

Basically I just need to have a clean face and moisturised all over!

doadeer · 06/11/2021 21:05

I've never heard of Eucerin cream with Urea.... Goes off to Google 👀

It's really, really good for fragile, delicate dry skin. If you've ever had the sensation of paper thin skin (in my case directly over my hip bones and it hurt to put ointment on) absolutely desperate for moisture and feeling as though it's on the point of splitting, it's what you need.

BodgertheJogger · 06/11/2021 21:08

Miss sporty studio lash mascara... v cheap and the best mascara I've ever used.

La roche posay cicaplast baume b5
St tropez facial mist

IvorCutler · 06/11/2021 21:44

Although the dove is a supermarket purchase really, so maybe I should reconsider the third item!

polkadotpjs · 06/11/2021 22:13

Ooh good one. Elvive conditioner for coloured hair in red bottle is one I come back to again and again. 8 hour cream as lip balm. And my watercolour blush is a good blush/ eyeshadow and lips at a pinch.
Can we not have 5??

Loubiemoo · 06/11/2021 22:22

Margaret Dabbs handcream
Australian Bodycare wash
Benefit Roller Lash mascara

PearlAsylum · 06/11/2021 22:26

I'd train myself to like whatever is available in supermarkets as much as possible (Aldi cleanser is brilliant). Then I'd be covered for all bases but would really appreciate my stash of:

  • Tom Ford Badass mascara
  • Stila one-step correct
  • Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche
Pattygonia · 06/11/2021 22:33

Benefit benetint - use it on lips and cheeks and gives me a really natural flush. It’s the one cosmetic I repurchase as soon as it’s runnung low

Fenjal bath oil - a bit basic to be a beauty store but I always have a bottle on the go in the bathroom

Weleda skin food - the lighter version. Love the smell and it seems to suit my skin

Emerald123 · 07/11/2021 02:27

Elemis pro collagen marine cream
Gatineau Vitamina hand cream
Ĺ Occitane Cherry blossom shower gel.

frugalkitty · 07/11/2021 10:07

Elemis cleansing balm
Liz Earle hair oil
Double wear foundation

I'm assuming the supermarkets will stay open so I can buy Aveeno cream in there

NadiaVulvokov · 07/11/2021 10:26

Esse Cleanser
Everyday Humans Facial SPF
Garden of wisdom Hyaluronic serum

Assuming I can still retinol prescription

PegasusReturns · 07/11/2021 10:31

Creme de La mere sunscreen - smells gorgeous and I’m prone to burn so it’s a can’t live without.

Oil of Olay regenerist day cream. I’ve not found a moisturiser I like more.

Mascara. Not too fussy on brand but pale lashes mean it’s a game changer.

I have 10 or so regular products that I would never sub so three is tough!

professionalnomad · 07/11/2021 18:08

Laneige lip sleeping mask
Rosece facial wash
Bybi bakuchiol booster

honeylemonteaforme · 07/11/2021 19:07
