Hope nobody minds me starting the next thread but we'd hit 1000 posts!

F&M has arrived and something in it smells fantastic. I also got the note about the replacement product but I'm fairly sure that's the product that I'd seen advertised so it doesn't make any difference to me.

M&S is great value, as long as you'll use the stuff. I can always use an eyeliner so for me the two eyeliners more or less justified the £40 spend. Or that's how I justified it to myself anyway...

Meh. It doesn't even list the weight of the chocolates. Most chocolate calendars do so you work out what you're paying for...

My M&S is arriving on Tuesday, first-ever beauty advent calendar after wanting one for years, excited!

Ive got CB hidden away but was going to get another 1 or 2.

Can't decide between M&S or Asos (Asos has big discount on their app today) as products both look good and there's nothing I need to buy in M&S. Wish you could use the money in Food rather than Home / Clothing.

Ive also run out of serum and day cream so need to hold on or start opening early!!!

Any suggestions for which AC to buy - Asos or M&S??????

I prefer M&S but it's what you like really

I've got Glossybox (amongst others!) and I've opened it already as I've had Covid and felt rubbish. No spoilers but one thing in particular made it worth it for me.

I have had problems to decide what calendar to get. I have H&B already but not sure what else to get. I was thinking of LF and JL but both are oos. M&S is ok but I don't know what to buy for £30 worth. I have 20% off beauty&clothes voucher but I still can't decide. I could get l'occitane calendar for £44 with the voucher.

I’ve remained strong @PomRuns 😂. I think that if Harrods had come back into stock immediately after the first sell-out, I would have gone for it, but as time has gone on I’ve managed to convince myself that I really don’t want/need it!

You’re all so persuasive! I wish I had a thread of people like you enabling me to eat healthily, work harder or exercise. But I don’t so I won’t

Btw I took something back to m and s today - asked if I needed to exchange as it was my £30 order for the calendar- they just refunded me, said I’d paid £40 for the advent and didn’t matter ???

They’ve always done that. They can’t take the calendar back as it could have had products used or removed and there’s no way to tell.

Now this would have made a great advent calendar (or you could use it to fill up an old calendar if the bits fit)

Wow, that Boots box looks incredible! I wonder if it will come down in price? Obvs it is a great price already for big names (Pixi etc) but I'd love them to discount it just for meee..

Looks quite good, but the big ticket item (eyeshadow palette) doesn't appeal to me. Just as well as I've already spent enough on calendars, and absolutely do not need more!

I’ve decided to open my M&S from today. Woke up to the cold and thought why not!

The boots box looks great. I might get it and divide into gifts for my sister and niece.
