Hope nobody minds me starting the next thread but we'd hit 1000 posts!

F&M has arrived and something in it smells fantastic. I also got the note about the replacement product but I'm fairly sure that's the product that I'd seen advertised so it doesn't make any difference to me.

M&S is great value, as long as you'll use the stuff. I can always use an eyeliner so for me the two eyeliners more or less justified the £40 spend. Or that's how I justified it to myself anyway...

Unexpectedly received my M & S calendar today (delivered by Royal Mail). I was a little confused at first until I realised there is 2 layers 😂
The other part of my order is with Hermes so have absolutely no idea when that will turn up 😩

My M & S was delivered today too - although it was supposed to arrive on Friday. I was in M & S today - only three calendars on display in the store - infact, there are only two now! It really is an addiction.

I have a friend who lost her Mum this year, so I thought it would be a lovely early Christmas present.

Part 1 of my M&S order has arrived. I bought the same jumper in two sizes as their sizing often runs very big so will be returning the larger one. Still over the spend limit so even if they are looking for return of the calendar if you return your spends, I'm fine. They never have before though.

For the order with the second calendar, I only ordered a medium so I've just gone in and ordered the small too as if it is similar sizing, it will be too big.

Does anyone know if boots would accept no 7 calendar return if they are unopened? Bought one for a friend and it turns out she already has one so now I have an extra one.

Just had a notification that Royal Mail have delivered two parcels (I think one is the M&S calendar) and left it in my 'safe place'. I'm so annoyed as I logged on this morning when I got the delivery update to change the delivery date to tomorrow. I'll be in the rest of the week and I didn't want it left anywhere given the experiences other people on the thread have had. So we'll see if it's still there when I get home from work.

@Luvacuppatea Hopefully it's all present and correct. It is quite subtle, it's not an overwhelming smell. I think it's coming from one of the drawers near the bottom of the calendar.

Started opening F&M today. I won't spoil it, I feel like it's okay to discuss contents on these threads but somehow saying which product is in which drawer really does seem like it spoils the surprise. I'll still be on the thread next month though, hopefully I'll have had a chance to try some stuff out by then.

My M&S calendar arrived today too 🙂. I decided to order a second one for someone else a few days later, so just waiting on that now.

Both M&S orders have already been delivered though. Discovered one left on my doorstep last night, despite the fact that I was home all day 🙄.

My M&S arrived and I love the tin, very happy as it’s been a really busy and hard day - winter is a hard time at work and home. I get the calendars to cheer me up and because it’s not a time when I have much spare time for new ideas or myself. Really pleased I got it, looking forward to that thread and the Space NK one…

There are a couple of perfumes but they are boxed (checked mine). I think it's the candle that smells amazing.

Marine Cream from Elemis is my absolute favourite; their night creams are very nice, too. So I usually go for the QVC deals 2x year if they're included as they're very good value.

My M&S calendar arrived today, as did the other little purchases I made to get it. 3 different parcels!

I’ve decided to open Glossybox in November. I’ll open M&S in December and follow the thread. Quite happy with the first item.

These are very strange times we're living in. I went for a short break and because of Covid restrictions, couldn't book spa time. I never really do that and just wanted to unwind.

So, I am rationalising that a calendar or few two, is really like a few spa visits. I'm going to kit out my bathroom for relaxation, with candles etc. and use the time to look after my skin as relaxation. Not rush in, and rush out. Maybe set myself up some audio books and plays as well, as I preen myself.

I think what would be a waste is if you didn't use and enjoy the products as much as you can.

Yes I had the Elemis AC last year (I opened it all in one go) bought after a spa day I’d looked forward to had been cancelled.

Hi ladies, belatedly on the new thread.

I feel a bit guilty about F&M and CB, but I have spent so much less money in the last 20 months that I deserve a treat.

I'm having a bit of SAMO (Sad About Missing Out) over the JL one, which with the palette, Sunday Riley which I'd love to try and the Dermologica is really good for the price (those three alone are worth £160). Also my Blue Light discount wouldn't work on CB so it was quite a bit more...but I am really excited about some of the items in it.

And I might treat myself to a CT palette in purple to replace a no 7 one I have had for years which I need to bin.

Oh, also got M&S, going to use it as Chr gifts tho, worth it for £40.

@MrsMcCluskeysCat agree re Elemis balm - really suits my skin too. I’ll be tempted by the qvc deal even though I don’t need it ..

JL might come back into stock. It worked out excellent value for me as there are products that I know I’ll love in there. Same for ASOS.

I’ve had another look at m&s but there’s really not much in there that I’d use.

I’d be up for another ac, maybe for Jan, but I can’t find one that excites me.

I managed to get a JL ad, so that along with the Feelunique was ample for me. However, today DSis let slip that she has bought me the Temple Spa advent for Christmas. Oh my ! Not that I’m complaining but I don’t think I will need to buy much for at least a couple of years. Not skincare anyway. I have had a peek a The Temple Spa box and it’s a beauty.

@Ilikeviognier not sure but if it's SIL out maybe you could sell it on? I would try Boots first and think they would probably take it back if clearly unopened and you have a receipt.

My food ones have now all arrived also. So that’s me set for the next 9 months, then I have 3 months of withdrawal before I get to start again with the 2022 lot. Just have to time the expiry dates on the food calendars.

Not exactly. I bought More self care from cult beauty, I have their gwp and some other goodies and I put them all in big black bag and I am picking one out every evening.
