Hope nobody minds me starting the next thread but we'd hit 1000 posts!

F&M has arrived and something in it smells fantastic. I also got the note about the replacement product but I'm fairly sure that's the product that I'd seen advertised so it doesn't make any difference to me.

M&S is great value, as long as you'll use the stuff. I can always use an eyeliner so for me the two eyeliners more or less justified the £40 spend. Or that's how I justified it to myself anyway...

Also, in previous years when the Liberty calendar hasn't sold so well, the contents have gone into the sale as a bundle without the box. I'll be keeping an eye out for that.

discounts! No. I promised myself I wouldn’t get anything else… unless Black Friday offers me something I can’t refuse.

If I was liberty I would be putting the unsold stick into beauty drop boxes

My John Lewis calendar arrived today!*

Now to decide, do I open it day by day through December or just enjoy it in one bit splurge now?

• The Winter Icons GWP seemed to drop off my order although it's still showing as in stock so I've raised that with customer service.

So... I've ended up with two John Lewis advent calendars... miscommunication between me and hubby! Not such a bad thing but I definitely only need 1.
So, do I;
A) send it back for a refund
B) list it for sale
C) raffle it on FB
D) something else?
Easiest would be to send it back but am I wasting an opp to sell it?

Welllll, FOMO has seen me ordering the Elemis set after all. It is good value, even without a night cream. And I'll use all of it.

I see By Terry's advent calendar is 25% off today via their own site. Lovely products, but can't justify it here but someone might be interested in having a look.

My JL one has arrived, looks lovely. Very heavy... have checked there is something (not looked what) in a few drawers so it seems to be all there.

Have decided to see if I can sell last year's LF empty box to defray some expenses

My Degustabox calendar has arrived! It's an impressive size. Really looking forward to it, we enjoyed last year's one so much.

I am on the prowl for any decent bargains, but as I already have M&S and Next, I don't have to get anything I'm not sure about - at least that's what I'm telling myself!

@TheDuchessOfMN - any sign of your Showstopper from Boots yet? An Post still don't have mine. I've sent an email to Boots to enquire. Hopefully, it's just that they sent it from GB and it's delayed because of that.

@OchonAgusOchonOh No, my An Post tracking number says that they still haven’t received my parcel. I wouldn’t worry at all yet, it’s just the time of year. I wouldn’t dream of ordering something in December.
It’s for my dd, maybe I’d be more antsy about it if it was for myself

So long as whoever they're sending it with aren't as diligent as An Post at refusing to take stuff that's not meant to fly if it's going abroad.

After my ungrateful moaning earlier in the week about my Ted Baker advent calendar (which has now been reduced at Boots). I have now bought the M&S one and I’m so thrilled with the gorgeous tin!

I’ve just bought the macmillan ones from Boots, they are half price now. I got one ladies and one mens one for my parents. I also got the boots socks ones too for the older DCs

I think the Macmillan ones are always meant to be half price as they usually are at the start for a few weeks too. It's ok for £42 but can't see why anyone would pay £85 for it

The M&S is good this year. Think I did well to resist
