Is available on Thursday in store and online apparently.

My boxes have gone straight into the recycling.

StiffyByng · 13/12/2021 17:37

My stuff is all still in the boxes as we're about to move so they're all being stored in there. Love the idea of donating them to school at the end.
Very pleased to have the eyeliner - I've still got the last one. But I hope this one is easier to twist up. Those who've repurchased, were we all cursed with a faulty batch last time?

I tried to twist mine earlier when I used it and it didn't seem to work (again)
Orcadianrythyms · 13/12/2021 18:16

I really like this eyeliner and will definitely wear it. I was laughing at the second layer joy - it cheered me up on a really rubbish day.

Helpstopthepain · 13/12/2021 18:24

I tested it and had to twist quite a lot but it did go up.

NomDePrune · 13/12/2021 19:55

Lurking since 1st Dec
Opening the first box I thought I'd cut it up and punch a hole to make gift tags. Now I just need to find matching wrapping paper...
Tried the PK elasticizer and I have to say it is the best hair product I have ever used! My thin straight hair feels swishy and full; I even considered cancelling my hair appointment (but Xmas so will go anyway). Loving most of it so far and giving my daughters the ones I'm not keen on.

@DobbyTheHouseElk

What is everyone doing with the boxes when the calendar is over. I don’t know if I should keep/hoard the boxes as I have no use for them. Or be brave and recycle it.
I've reused one from a couple of years ago and filled it with skincare and beauty treats for my 13yo (job lot of Birchboxes from Brand Alley). I was a little worried she might not be happy at getting a 'recycled' calendar and feel cheated by not getting the contents as printed on the underside of the box, but she's absolutely delighted. So I'll be doing the same with this year's 'empty', next December.
Talisin · 14/12/2021 06:46

Another one that won’t work for me but as it’s only a tiny size I don’t feel too bad about it Grin

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 14/12/2021 07:11

Yes, I can't use this one either as it's full of silicones. Will give it to my mother.

Orcadianrythyms · 14/12/2021 07:30

I'll give this a go - I don't normally use this as it means I need to wash my hair quicker (and I'm a slatern Grin) It's only tiny so nice to try.

HeySeamus · 14/12/2021 07:31

This is definitely no good for me. None of these types of serums do anything positive to my hair and I already have a different PK serum languishing in a drawer having only been used a few times. A leave in conditioner would be appreciated by me - although the PK Elasticizer doesn't seem to do anything to my hair either ConfusedConfused

For those of you with curly hair, I use Imbue curl energising hydration serum. It's bloody brilliant at doing what it says it does and is also curly girl friendly.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 14/12/2021 07:37

Thanks for the tip @HeySeamus! Have added it to my list to try (once I've finished up some of the many other hair products currently cluttering up my bathroom!)

helloitsme3 · 14/12/2021 08:05

What is todays? Is it a conditioner?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 14/12/2021 08:06

Another dud for me. I don’t have coloured or frizzy hair. A shampoo would have been more useful if they want to include hair products.

mynameiscalypso · 14/12/2021 08:12

I have just washed my hair and slapped a bit of today's on. Let's see what it does!

Helpstopthepain · 14/12/2021 08:24

Looking forward to trying today’s although having my hair coloured later so I’ll have to wait. I’m supposed to be going away on Friday (please don’t be cancelled) so maybe I’ll use it then and go away with nice swishy hair.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 14/12/2021 08:28

Boo hiss..... no good for my hair, another on to go in the draw..

Cheesymonster · 14/12/2021 08:29

I agree Dobby. My hair is so thin anything like the three hair products we’ve had make it lank.

LizzieSiddal · 14/12/2021 08:31

I’m not sure what you’re supposed to do with this, the writing is so small 🤣 I do have coloured hair so hopefully it’s useful.

Jammallama · 14/12/2021 08:43

Also unimpressed with another hair product today - although I'm a bit biased as I'm having chemotherapy for lymphoma so am utterly hairless!!! They'll go in a drawer for when it returns but I'm generally a wash and go person anyway. I was really hoping there'd be a brow product in this somewhere - I could really do with one of those! Grin

OchonAgusOchonOh · 14/12/2021 08:43

There are no instructions that I can see. What is it and how do I use it?

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 14/12/2021 08:53

Here you go..

How to Apply

Apply a small amount through towel dried hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends and blow-dry in.
Can be left to air dry. Add more as required. A small amount can also be applied to dry hair.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 14/12/2021 08:55

That was from the PK website not on the tube!! I was surprised at how expensive it is.

OchonAgusOchonOh · 14/12/2021 09:08

Thank you @Lowlifeinhighplaces.

So similar to the elasticiser then.

NomDePrune · 14/12/2021 09:52

@Cheesymonster

I agree Dobby. My hair is so thin anything like the three hair products we’ve had make it lank.
Have you tried the elasticizer though? My hair is thin and fine but still feels thicker and fuller even one wash later- and less hair in the plug hole too. I did leave it in for two hours
