Thanks @NumaNumaYay! Makes me feel a bit less terrified Grin

Lipsandlashes · 12/12/2021 13:22

Dare I say I’m a bit bored of skin and hair care now. Hoping for some make up soon

Cheesymonster · 12/12/2021 13:54

I am hoping for a luxurious body cream and a scrub.

Findingthelight1 · 12/12/2021 14:29

My skin is already the best it's been in years, after just what - a week? - using that cleansing balm thing. It's not going to know what's hit it with the liquid gold thingy as well.

Really loving the selection so far.

Talisin · 12/12/2021 14:36

I’m hoping for a larger handcream! One of their eyeshadow sticks would also be nice.

friedeggandsauce · 12/12/2021 14:41

Anyone else manically trying to finish stuff up? I've loads of tropic stuff which goes out of date, Loreal which had to be reviewed and a couple of other bits- I don't want to open stuff and then waste it!
Oh I've a no7 moisturiser too from a bargain last year 🤦🏼‍♀️. I think I have a problem 🤣

woodhill · 12/12/2021 14:49

Yes, very much the same

Babymamaroon · 12/12/2021 15:32

I really love Prai so am pleased with today's offering. I love the Alpha toner too.

Countmeout · 12/12/2021 15:51

Prai really nice and a good size. With respect make up is difficult in an advent calendar as inevitably the colour suits very few.

AnnieSnap · 12/12/2021 17:14

I tried the hair balm today and sadly I’m totally unimpressed. It’s a fail from me!

RampantIvy · 12/12/2021 18:28

The only product I have used so far is the hair elasticiser as I have stuff to use up. I am enjoying that this is mostly skincare because I don't wear a lot of make up.

I don't think the elasticiser has made any difference to my hair.

Clarabellawilliamson · 12/12/2021 19:04

@TokyoSushi I sometimes used to get eczema on my eyelid- I recommend hydrosil dry eye gel. Sorted it right out and keeps it at bay. It's great!

Helpstopthepain · 12/12/2021 19:15

Just opened today’s! I’m excited to try this although need to wait as I have a REN night cream on the go.

CountryCob · 12/12/2021 20:34

I like this, it smells lovely and clean for nighttime

EachandEveryone · 12/12/2021 21:37

I would have really enjoyed a body cream tbh.

EachandEveryone · 12/12/2021 21:39

Both the hair products are useless and I should be their prime target curly hair prone to frizzing. It made it worse if anything.

RampantIvy · 12/12/2021 22:30

Where did you buy the Hydrosil from @Clarabellawilliamson? I have looked online and can only find Skin Shop supplying it. Are they a reputable online shop?

Clarabellawilliamson · 12/12/2021 22:48

That's where I got it from @RampantIvy. I haven't had any issues from them, but only used them the once. I will buy more when it runs out!

GlomOfNit · 12/12/2021 23:01

I'm not trying to use everything, every day - it's making me think a little of The Twelve Days of Christmas, WRT the cumulative effect! Grin But I really do like the Wonder Balm hair stuff. I barely do anything decent to my hair but tend to blow dry with a bit of cheapy VO5 pump stuff in to style (mine isn't thin really but quite flyaway). Using this instead and it thickens my hair up and makes it look reasonably decent.

Apart from that, I love the hot cloth face wash from the beginning. The day cream's really heavy for me but seems to work for me in small amounts. I've nearly finished my Apothecary body wash, and liked the smell so much I've bought an Apothecary Calm gift set for a relative. Grin I'm too scared to use the liquid gold facial acid thing for the moment!

RampantIvy · 12/12/2021 23:15

Thank you @Clarabellawilliamson. I will order some then.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 13/12/2021 06:39

My skin is having a bit of a mare but I think its because I've changed coincidentally changed my cleanser, moisturiser and serum at the same time due to them running out. Hopefully it will calm down soon.

Puffincino · 13/12/2021 06:44

Got brave or reckless last night and tried the rose gold acid. Tingled a bit on application and made my face a bit pink. Not enough reaction to concern me but noticeable.

No moisturiser and went to sleep.

This morning! Oh my word! Significantly smoother and brighter. Really really impressed. Going to have another go later this week to check and if it's the same again this will definitely be my night before a big event ritual. It might be magic!

cloudtree · 13/12/2021 06:51

It is actual magic. I’ve been using it for about four years now and it’s the one potion I would cling on to for dear life. I always have a spare in case it gets discontinued.

Happy with todays offering. I use this brand of makeup and a dark brown will always get used.

RampantIvy · 13/12/2021 06:55

Am going out tonight so will give today's gift a try.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 13/12/2021 07:11

Todays box opened, not for me dont use it but a good brand.

Going to try the wonder liquid tonight, hope it lives up to expectations!
