Is available on Thursday in store and online apparently.

Your nails are a lovely shape and that colour really suits you, Greebo.
Very happy with today's box as it's 1 of the reasons I buy the calendar. I agree it can be a faff leaving it on before a morning shower so I put it on at bedtime and use it as an overnight mask.
According to the M and S website it is £3 for 10ml so £12 today bring us to a total so far of £44.76.

OchonAgusOchonOh · 05/12/2021 09:23

I quite like the idea of this but like @Anjelika find it a bit of a faff. Having to remember to put it on before having a shower and then hanging around is a bit of a commitment that I'm not usually willing to make.

HollyHocks13 · 05/12/2021 09:28

I am quite pleased with today's although like pp said, it is a faff to use as I wash my hair in the shower so it's a pain to have to rinse it before... having said that though, I'm sitting drinking my coffee with the product in my hair working it's magic - it smells divine!

tandt5 · 05/12/2021 09:31

Looking forward to trying today's one, having heard some great reviews about PK.
It's my first AC and so far I really like the diversity of the products (cream, cleanser, nails, now hair).

Helpstopthepain · 05/12/2021 09:47

I’m excited to try today’s.

Decaffe · 05/12/2021 10:01

Is this a little different to the regular Elasticizer?

I’ve just noticed that the individual boxes themselves have ‘spoilers’ on the outside so I need to avoid looking at the box too closely before I open it!

LizzieSiddal · 05/12/2021 10:17

I’m a regular user of the original elasticizer and it really is a game changer on me anyway. It is a faff to put on and wait, so I have got into the habit of putting it on then doing my cleaning.Grin
When finished I have a nice shower and then have lovely silky hair.

Bavarois · 05/12/2021 10:20

I like looking at the wee clues before I open, but only on the day of. Last year's Space NK had lovely poems on the box that were clues to the contents.

I've never actually tried elasticiser but have heard it discussed a lot. It does sound a faff, I guess I could wet my hair in the shower, have a bath while it works and then shower to rinse it off and it wouldn't feel as much of a commitment.

NumaNumaYay · 05/12/2021 10:23

How often do you use it, lizzie?
Same as others, I used it once or twice in the past but it was a faff. I have longer hair now though so may appreciate it more!

Orcadianrythyms · 05/12/2021 10:32

It's a good one for a Sunday - although I'm looking a bit of a sight with a hotel shower cap on my head. The poor Amazon man caught me at the point of cap on head but as I was trying on a Christmas dress option!

LizzieSiddal · 05/12/2021 10:44

I use it once a week and have done for many years. Yes there’s been periods when I can’t be bothered, sometimes for months, but I soon get back into it as it makes such a difference to my hair.

I pop my head under the shower, fully dressed, rub the elasticizer into my hair, wrap a thin towel around it, then get on with something else.

Decaffe · 05/12/2021 10:49

Do you have to wear your hair before you apply it? It would be less of a faff if you could put it on dry...

Lipsandlashes · 05/12/2021 10:52

Today is a bit of a disappointment for me but, to be honest, most hair things will be as I’ve got fine, oily hair and can only use shampoo and a tiny bit of the Aveda leave in conditioner (from the summer bag, which is brilliant!). I’ll probably use it on DD’s really long and think hair.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 05/12/2021 10:55

Today's smells lovely, was going to wash my hair this morning but may leave it until this evening so I can get a bath and leave it on in the bath then rinse off in the shower. But that means going out with hair that needs a wash! Decisions decisions 🤣

OchonAgusOchonOh · 05/12/2021 10:57

So how many of us are currently drinking tea/coffee with shower caps onGrin

Purpleblondelady · 05/12/2021 11:04

I've been wanting to try today's product for a while too. How many uses do you think this size rube will last? (My hair is just below my shoulders)

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 05/12/2021 11:08

Oh I'm raging I washed my hair this morning before I'd opened today's gift! And I think my hair would soak this up. I will try it over the Christmas break when I'm just slobbing around eating chocolate oranges and drinking Baileys - the shower cap will add a certain je ne sais quoi Grin

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 05/12/2021 11:09

@Purpleblondelady I have long thick hair so I expect to use this entire tube in one go

Cockle1234 · 05/12/2021 11:13

I've looked this up an it says one option to use is to put it on, go to the gym, and rinse out after a workout. I've not seen anyone working out in a shower cap but I'm really tempted because following those instructions are the only thing that will get me into the gym at the moment Xmas Hmm

MrsWidgerysLodger · 05/12/2021 11:19

Pleased with todays offering as I use the original elastisizer anyhow. Will use this evening as I'm currently setting up for my DDs birthday party!

Talisin · 05/12/2021 11:28

Ah, Elasticizer. Second only to the Back Eyeliner of Doom in its Advent calendar ubiquity. It doesn’t do much for my hair but I have a friend who loves it so I always send her mine.

JustWhatIAlwaysWanted · 05/12/2021 11:36

I like this and am glad to have more of it. For me it's not too much of a faff as I prefer doing pre shower treatments to the ones where you have to do them after hair washing, leave them on then rinse as that's worse. It's part of a lazy weekend morning where I am still in PJs and will apply the elasticiser and sit with a towel on my head, have a bacon sandwich and coffee then go for a shower.

@Lipsandlashes my hair is similar but it works for me as I avoid the roots and just apply it below the ears if that makes sense. I also like the Aveda and do the same with that.

BlueBloodedBlue · 05/12/2021 11:49

I love the original Elasticizer so chuffed with this.

Decaffe · 05/12/2021 11:49

My thoughts exactly Talisan. I may give this away. I am dreading getting the Black Eyeliner Of Doom Grin
